I don’t like it either and am thinking about painting mine. The only thing I like about the silver is it won’t show scratches as much, which leads me to believe that was the point with the Raptor being higher off the ground and the under side being more visible.
I was wondering before if cars going by rail were prioritized to try to get them out before the strike. Now they may prioritize the convoy cars. We'll see, a lot of cars produced right before and after mine have been shipped by rail while mine going convoy has been on hold.

Get it oiled. If you keep it 10 years you'll be thanking yourself. Get it oiled before the first winter, and then before every winter after that. I've had best results with cars oiled before the first winter.
