Taking a loan out for a vehicle for 6 years is insane. You can probably get up to a 1.5% lower rate by going for <60 months. By the time these vehicles are 4-5 years old things will start breaking. And having repairs equal or more than what you'll be paying monthly makes no sense.
You say it's "you allocation". But technically it's the dealer's allocation from Ford. Ford give dealers allocations. If you reserved/order a car from a dealer; they are giving you one of their allocations.
Cars are a status symbol these days. People buy out of their means in some cases and immediately put themselves in a financial hole for 5+ years. I personally would never take out a loan longer than 4 years or have a payment over $500. Or even pay MSRP for a vehicle. That's my criteria I've...
Are there even any non spacer lift kits that are 0-2" for the non sas BL? The only one I know of is coming from Ford Performance that hasn't even been released yet.
No kidding. Until they try to pull something shady and price you out of your vehicle you waiting months/years for. No wonder why no one likes dealers. There is no reason that you can't order a vehicle online these days and pay for it it in advance and pick it up at the dealer without dealing...
So how is it Fords fault for a part they don't make? That's like crapping on your Samsung phone for a battery that catches fire. A battery that Samsung doesn't even manufacture.
I'm furtunate to have a company vehicle I use during the week. The Bronco is my weekend/personal vehicle. It's been over 3 weeks since I put gas in it and I'm at a half a tank.
Those who actually think Ford will recall these engines; it will never happen. If it breaks, they will fix/replace it. If it doesn't, then let them continue running. If it aint broke don't fix it; until it needs to be fixed.
Atleast it was only 4 miles. It could have been much worse since it's not uncommon for trails to be over 50 miles on dirt. I wonder what Ford's reaction would be if you told them it broke down 15+ miles into a off-road trail.
