My hope is that EG turns out to be the all-American, 2021 version of this color (which I believe is Land Rover's "Dark Bronze Green")...similar idea, but with some sparkle and shifting tones in different light.

Ordered mine Oct 27, got a build date Oct 28. But it was a an order on a day one reservation. Maybe that helped. Who knows.

I feel the same way. Anyone have a feel for how close to declared build weeks Ford has bumped people? In other words, is there a point at which we should feel fairly comfortable that no bump is coming our way?

I actually think I may prefer EG—the dark is somehow more classic to me—but this one is good too. I think that if you did this retro style with EG and a white with a tiny bit of cream/yellow in it (like the Wimbledon white on the original Bronco), it would be pure class.

Seems like carefully masking off the last few inches of the tailgate and spraying some matte black plasti-dip along there might be the way to go…

That’s my fear as well. I’m scheduled for production the week of 12/22 (and it’s a MY2022 build in EG, at that), and it just seems so likely that they’ll push me to a later date again.
