Thanks for this post. It's nice seeing all of the different photos with the MIC top. Really hoping I can grab that MIC window panel like on the overlander concept. I really don't hate the MIC as much as I thought I would and It doesn't look as cheap as Jeep MIC tops. I actually like the texture...
Mine will be mainly daily driver with basic weekend trails or sand, so I understand your thoughts on it.
If I don't do Wildtrak, I think a fully loaded non-squatch OBX with just a 33" KO2 tire swap will be good enough. Is the stock suspension really not good enough for what you plan to do with it?
I'm not planning on going squatch because I won't need it, but say I do jump to a Wildtrak...
What is the difference in the speed of tire wear and tire cost on a daily driver? Anyone know?
Edit: At most it will be sand and flat trail driving for me so I know the squatch is overkill, but it...
Anyone planning on swapping out their fenders and mirror caps? For some reason this came to me today that this can be done so I don't have to be pinned down to colors that would work better with the body color fenders and mirrors ?
With the way the MIC hard top came out on this model, I'm strongly reconsidering the modular top after being dead set on it for these reasons:
1. I'm either going with carb gray or iconic silver, so the matching fender flares and mirrors (especially on carb gray) shouldn't be much of an...
Wow, I was sold on the modular top, but saving what is it, $1200 to put into accessories is looking better with how that MIC hard top came out.
Was so impatient for B&P, now all these choices making me anxious!
I agree with this so much! Based purely on gut feeling haha!
With how insane the world is right now, with the economy being held up by emergency policies like deferred rent and no evictions, who knows what America will look like this winter when all of those policies are either ended, or...
Thanks for taking the time to respond, guys. The latest murky message from Ford to dealerships spoke about them "trying" to keep priority per reservation, but then other factors such as market, dealership performance and so on seemed to be considered strongly as well.
I originally did the same...
Hey Bob,
I'm in Huntington Beach which is in the middle of both Galpin and Kearny Mesa drive wise. With you being so close to Galpin, what made you go with a San Diego dealer? If Galpin sells the most in the nation, wouldn't they get greater allocation first and you your Bronco first without...
The same color fender flares with the mirror caps seem like they would look good on the Carbonized Gray painted OBX. I was sold on carbonized gray until I saw the recent photos of the iconic silver painted on a frame. I honestly don't know what i'm going to do about color now.
Based on the Bronco survey pricing, I really have no choice. It's going to be a long term daily driver vehicle that I plan to use for road trips, camping, pretty much beach and standard trail driving. Creature comforts plus ability and long term utility.
I love the look of the sasquatch, but...
