I have the Long-Reach version of this one (same color, too!) for my car, truck and Jeep - works like a charm on all three, so the Bronco will be no problem. HF Daytona Long Reach Low Profile
I'm sure everyone knows this:
Badlands and Squatch can go the deepest...adjust accordingly for your model and tire size...top of the tires would be max in still waters.
Ditching the fender badges (leaving the area clean) and swapping the chrome pony for a black chrome WT badge...can't stand bright chrome.
All are self-adhesive, I believe, and fairly easy to remove with a fishing line "saw" and some GooGone for the residue: Debadging with fishing line
...and that's exactly what an off-roader should look like after a day on the trails - Well done!
Now go wash up for dinner, young man - You're a mess! 😁
Welcome to the Dark Side, John...
I personally won't be much help, as my Bronco will have the 2.7 engine, but my experience with dunking alternators has been a zero-issue affair -- 1995 Jeep XJ has a low-mounted one and has forded streams over bumper-depth without a problem. Unless someone has a...
2-door Purgatory-dweller speaking here - I'll take any well-built top option that puts my BL in my driveway before Christmas 2021...Wishful thinking, I know....
Motorcraft = Ford, so you're good there, and PLEASE don't go after the oil filter cover with visegrips, Crescent wrench, or open-end wrench...you WILL bork it up eventually...socket or box-end wrench only...ask ME how I know
Yup, that's the only live one I've seen...was at Chapel Hills for 1 day of dealer training/display.
One was also there this past Monday for about a half day...didn't hear of anyone from B6G getting in to see that one.
Wait for it - they will come. Most accessory makers don't even have access to a real Bronco yet.
A year or two from now we will be flooded with all kinds of add-ons, from good and useful to tacky garbage - whatever suits your fancy.
Lotsa little trips around Colorado at first, just to get used to the new rig, but the first off-road adventure will be here:
Black Bear Pass Road...White-knuckle run as long as you get it right...Code Brown if you don't:
PS - Occupants survived..Jeep did not...
July 25th res date...
Badlands 2-door build with a couple of "deadlies"...
Likely half-way down the list of Granger buyers...
The longer the wait - the more $$$ I save up...
Don't WANT to be "first on the block"...
Never had the illusion of a MY21...
All is good - I will be ready when my Bronco...
Jeep will likely pitch a hissy over the vaguely similar grille...Mahindra knows all about that.
Will see if this one takes off or not, but it does look interesting
SSSOOOOOOooooo close to mine...make it a non-Squatch Badlands V6 and park it in my driveway....Sadly sitting in Webasto-Limbo on a July 25th reservation, but it WILL get to me eventually.
EDIT - Posted without scrolling down all the way - THIS is more like it!
...almost...
