Hey. I need a person with a stock 2 door Bronco to be in a commercial. I was approached by Dirtfish yesterday. It will be shot on the 23rd of this month.
Closer to base the better, but has to be completely stock.
please answer asap, I'll pm for you info and pass it on.
Thanks
Yes. A button would save 4 minutes every few weeks or so. And sure, it would be a luxury. But not a necessity. Totally agree with you that the 3.0 should be an option on the Badlands. I'd like to have a steel rear bumper, but also plan to replace it with aftermarket.
I just disconnect it in the a.m. before heading out to the trail. And then reconnect it in the parking lot before heading home About 5 minutes of my time spent. Why would I wait until a wheel is off the ground to push a button?
I've been wheeling for over 20 years, never needed a button on...
They make a simple kit so you can manually disconnect the sway bar. I dealt with it in my Jeep for almost a decade. I'd WAYYY rather have the stronger steering rack than a fancy button on the dash that adds about 2 inches of extra travel.
I haven't been for a couple of years. But I remember the brush had grown in pretty good, gonna have some racing stripes. Nachees is one of the cooler trails I've ever done. Not so difficult (well, one or two gnarly hill climbs) but scenic as heck. Have fun.
ps. That LJ is nice!
Killer pics Tom. That was a pretty great turn out. (Baker's dozen, not 13. lol @Cat ) Next year, I'd like to push for us crashing the Ballard Car Show. ;)
This is probably the only angle I got that you didn't post.
@66GT Understood. My wife is cool enough that she said to do what I want to do. :) So I figure I'll at least drop in for a beer and a chance to meet a few more members.
Killer set up, thanks for the epic pics! Curious about the hitch set up?
I have a little trailer that started as a flat bed. I flipped the axle, grabbed some old Jeep tires from craigslist, made some rails and whallah!
I'd like to convert it to an overland trailer, but the standard hitch...
Indeed. Our little fb club passed the 300 mark for members lately. Lots of activity daily, plenty of events going on regularly on the weekends. Cheers @NeoS281
@Cat Correct, that was a shot from facebook. So far, I cannot find an answer about how to register or if you have to or whether it costs money or not. Several people have asked on their fb page, but no answer. But definitely not with me, just the messenger. :)
