We isolated the problem to the spot inside the tailgate. They replaced the tailgate - which doesn’t have the tick in the tailgate anymore - but it’s now ticking inside the rear corner of the frame maybe where the door bolts on. I can isolate it when I’m sitting in the trunk and someone else is...
I have same issue - not the one that shows the sta-bar disconnect in red - but the alert keeps going off. It instantly disables the ability to change GOAT modes. no issue driving and no more alerts. If I restart the truck the GOAT modes are enabled again and the alert doesn't come back on for...
yes. over a period of a variety of visits to the service center, who mind you has been super cool from the start, have tested every single rubber bumper, nub, screw, plastic piece, removed and on, plastic screws holding the wires within that plastic removable piece on the interior - retaped...
waiting for the badges to arrive but they ordered and painted a new gate for me - hoping it has better weld spots. I know it's possible cause it is not on others at their dealership
It’s stress at the door spot welds - we are pretty sure after mine made the rounds at my dealership. They are working on solving - have done everything short of replacing the gate which is Jeff. Worried it won’t matter. They have other Sasquatch that do not make the noise tho which was why I...
you dont need to drill into mod bumper. drill a hole through the middle of the actual plate holder from dealer and then use the torx bolt in middle of mod bumper to bolt on in middle. it ain't going anywhere.
I realized the plate that I told them not to mount actually works perfectly fine with a single hole drilled through top of plastic bracket, bolted to the existing centered bolt on the modular bumper (had to buy the t40 torx bit - for F sake how come none of the torx bits in the toolkit fit any...
No idea but it’s sent via some wireless signal because the flat was losing air as it was mounted on rear gate and was showing as if it was still on driver side front. Then suddenly switched after several miles on freeway today. Yesterday drove about 6 miles and it wasn’t enough to “train” it.
IGNORE THE ABOVE - Great news after the 5th or 6th mile it automatically switched to read the spare in place of the Busted tire. So training does seem to happpen but it happens autonomously!
What is strange regardless of training or not - the tire pressure gauge on the dash is showing the pressure in the flat tire which is now mounted on rear gate. So is there some sort of swap that needs to happen to let the car know not to read the bad tire?
I'm not sure - I just got notification that real time traffic etc on my high package was due to be reupped or lose it. w carplay doesnt matter much for me though cause even tho it sucks it at least has a subpar but usable version of waze.
I got a nail in sas front driver tire. Swapped the full size spare but the computer pressure sensor still reading the spare which is mounted on rear gate now.
Anyone know what I did wrong or skipped? Looked around and couldn’t find anything. Do I need to reset somehow or swap something in...
Interesting. It didn’t solve for me but if it comes down to the weight causing the flex of the metal welds or rivets to click would would make sense, I don’t know what would fix it tho and that’s worrying.
I’ve seen some people do this on the horse logo on back. Haven’t seen it for the ring. Given how easy it is to pull the rings off I would do that first either way so you save the work of peeling. You really can’t mess up the removal of the rings.
