I’m a big Toyota guy. I’ve owned 3 4Runners over the years and currently have a 13 Tundra that I bought new. I think the Taco is a sweet truck and can be one of the sexiest rigs if built up nice. But no way in hell am I dropping out of my bronco for one. In my opinion there is no comparison...
If I could get the AWD version with the hybrid, I’d reserve today. I currently daily drive my 13 Tundra with 100k miles. And while I have a very shot commute, I’d be all over the 40 mpg with the ability to still make Home Depot trips. I sold my travel trailer last year and really have no need to...
How noticeable do you all think the performance change from the 4.46 to the 4.70 if someone jumps from 33" to 35" tires. Between the M/T's being impractical for someone driving up Little Cottonwood Canyon 60 times a ski season, and the fact that this will start as my wife daily driver (she...
In my neck of the woods we no longer even think much about Covid. Probably 80% are maskless indoors, and 100% are maskless outside. Just participated in a weekend little league tournament and not one mask. The kids even shook hands after the games.
Btw, 7 games in 3 days is a shit load of...
I have a build week of 07/26 and a VIN ending in 80xxx.
I did have to give up the tow and the hardtop, but with a 09/11 reservation date it was the only way to get anything in the next year. I have other tow vehicles, and the only thing my Bronco will tow is my bike. etrailer will no doubt...
The soft top and lack of tow definitely helped me. September 11 reservation and converted my order the last day possible. In fact I switched to Granger the day before orders were due. But I will now be built on July 26 God willing.

Then by all means order yourself a Wrangler. That is the benefit of our free market. If you are pissed off at Ford enough you have the right to take your $$$ elsewhere. Or you can keep bitching I guess if it makes you feel better. Though I doubt it speeds anything up.
They may not really care about individual customers, but they sure as shit care about selling vehicles.
Do you think they would if they had a backlog of 100,000+ orders? What if it was a brand new model just being launched? The timing of this launch couldn't possibly be any worse and it was...
I personally have no issue giving Ford a little shit for their lack of communication on this, but for the most part they are keeping to what they originally stated, and most of the issues are out of their control. This is my first new vehicle launch, but it is going about how I would have...
Everything I have read is that you go back into gen pop. My hope is that whatever triggered my build getting previewed Tuesday, will get me reviewed next week again. And since they won’t only be doing VIP and FE builds I’ll actually get a VIN this time.
Nothing for me sadly even though I got the previewing email on Tuesday. I had a feeling I wouldn't see it, but hard not to start getting stoked. Maybe next week.
Nothing from me either. When I mentioned to my dealer on Tuesday that I had heard this week was set aside for VIP and FE's, he confirmed that was the plan and he thought that possibly the Tuesday previews would end up with VIN's next Thursday and not today.
As a 9/11 reserver I have never paid much attention to Thursdays, but now that I got that preview message on Tuesday I have a feeling I’ll be updating my email more than working today.
This is kind of how I look at it. Getting all bent out of shape because it's taking longer than people thought doesn't really speed things up. And at the end of the day our commitment is a $100 fully refundable deposit. One thing that can't be doubted is that Ford really wants to get these built...
