Any reason you can't? Reading through the manual seems like you can use trail control in 2H as long as you don't exceed 20 mph, after which you could switch to normal cruise control (which can be enabled above 15 mph).
No funny business, I paid MSRP and was able to negotiate the APR and trade in (Carvana ended up offering way more for the trade in though). My sales guy was Joseph and very transparent and efficient throughout the process.
The finance side of the house is a bit more pushy, with the extended...
Looks great!
@4x4TruckLEDs.com have you guys confirmed that there's still plenty of clearance to the underside of the hood with various QD fittings installed? Or do you provide/recommend a fitting for this kit?
A couple of initial pics of mine below after the first couple of days!
Love this trim, and VB goes so well with the black steelies and black/gray interior with the blue accents. I was also worried the 32s would look undersized but in person they look don't look small at all. I might bump up to...
Awesome you're gonna love it!
It's a bit tricky but easy enough once you get the feel for it. I found it easier to close the one hook clamp on each section while it's partially removed in order to clear the gap between the frame and the roof rack. I'll probably end up taking the roof rack off...
Fingers crossed it was a short time period of QC misses and Ford/dealers resolve it quickly... will be interesting to see how it pans out.
Some RTV sealant could actually be a pretty effective way to repair it, and could be done at home or dealerships. A bit jank but otherwise going to be super...
Not the massive gap right? this thin dark line line on the rearmost panel is the separation? Just want to know exactly where to look as I'm expecting to take delivery any day now.
Thanks for flagging it!
Looks really, really good. Like almost too good. Especially love how the VB character still shines through.
So good that I would probably obsess over every little water spec or bird poo way too much⦠I think in the sun on an average day after a week since Iāve had a car wash in LA, Iāll be glad...
I think itās up for debate/preference. Downshifting to a stop certainly results in more clutch wear but like you said coasting in neutral to a stop increases break wear. I tend to switch back and forth with heavy city driving depending on the situation.
Woooo finally got the shipped email this morning!
Until now was stuck in build status/pending shipment since 9/29. With all the craziness in the shipping industry seems there could be a backlog and limited rail car availability heading west.
Yep got mine at 11:30 PST (2:30 eastern). Odd indeed, I had heard they typically go out early AM. Email was sent a few hours after I noticed the Ford tracker had updated to show built status as well.
