I think it is only 77.6 cu.ft. with the hard top. So both seats up....35.6 cu.ft. and 77.6. BUT the Escape Sport is 32 cu.ft. and 65....doesn’t seem much bigger with the seats up?. :-(

To me it looks like a matte black plastic top in dust and bright sun, not gray. Those hinges are the same ones on my 2001 Escape, one of the known failure points...but mine did last 17 years before replacement. :) That tire on the back will just get in my way....when I am loading up stuff...

For me top on 100%, hopefully insulated. All my old ringing ears need is some dirtbag on a rice-cycle to zip on by with the doors or top off.
