Thanks. 305s (34") should work fine on Badlands. Tires are 0.5" shorter than SAS Goodyears (0.25" radius) and we now know that SAS Bronco is only 0.4" taller than a Badlands, so it will be fine. I have ReadyLift's high-clearance "anti-intrusion" beams (aka crash bars) to install. Also have...
I doubt I'll be first. There are thousands ordered in NC and I'm a 7/31 reservation. Just because I dropped MIC for a soft top? I'm sure I won't be first :)
For what it's worth, I ordered mine with MIC but it was only a slight preference. I daily drove a Jeep TJ for many years with soft top and loved the flexibility. Anyway, I changed my order in mid-May to the soft top and on 5/27 I got a build date for the week of July 19. But I live in a...
Yep, sorry to hear of your issue. Other folks may have better idea but I can't think of anything other than a complaint to Ford if you feel the Dealer has not acted appropriately.
Hello and welcome to the forum. Standard question back to you for these types of posts/questions: When did you place your reservation and your order? Thanks
I think not. Leaf springs or heavier springs in the rear would help. The Bronco is designed for best offroad performance, which means soft compliant springs, which is counter to what you want for towing.
Ha no way! But I was #34 out of 110 allocations at dealer and I’m sure I moved way up between Mod top and MIC top issues/changes. Once I changed MIC to soft top, I got scheduled within a couple weeks … just like a number of other forum members.
Maybe since you’re a soft top. I have similar build and 7/31 reservation. Got notified by Ford on 5/27 that I have build week of July 19, which has stayed the same so far.
Looks like nothing registered on speedometer until ~1.5 sec went by. So subtract at least 1 sec right? Plus it was wet out … not normal conditions for 0-60 test … and I doubt the tester did hard revved launch like they typically do for these tests.
Ford stated they are scheduling production 45-60 days out. If you switch to soft in mid July, it seems there would be little to no chance of you getting your Bronco produced before Sept
Do we know what part of the SAS package is the constraint? I've searched and have not found a definitive answer. I believe some theorized it was the Goodyear tires.
