  1. 30K Maintenance

Both have benefits. Using good quality gas will typically keep your injectors clean so if they are just using a fuel additive, I would pass and continue to use a gas station I trust.
  2. 30K Maintenance

Probably the easiest vehicle to change the transfer case fluid I have ever maintained. If you can change your oil, you can change the diff and transfer case fluids.
  3. 30K Maintenance

Just heightened awareness that places will charge you $50 and just dump an off the shelf can in the tank. Using a quality fuel with additives is the way to go. I do carry some dump in Amsoil products just in case I am at a small station in the middle of no where as insurance.
  4. 30K Maintenance

To clean the valves, they There was originally a professional tool that connected to an air compressor. I have seen that a lot of places are now using something like this...
  5. 30K Maintenance

For more clarification, there is a procedure to clean valves in GDI systems that involves pressurized cleaner into the air intake to clean the tops of the valves and not the injectors. There is also a different procedure to run injector cleaner directly into the injectors which would only...
  6. 30K Maintenance

Is it just a dump in cleaner in the gas tank or is it a pressurized fuel cleaning procedure? The pressurized cleaning procedure works. The dump in the gas tank in snake oil.

Fluid changes should always be done. That is cheap insurance. Fuel system cleaning maybe a good idea as the 2.3L does not have the dual injectors, one above the valve and one below. It only has the one below so your valves could get deposit build up on top.

  9. Spare Tire Delete PSA

    Spare tire delete for life!
  10. Spare Tire Delete

I went pretty cheap with the DV8 unit. I don’t care for rear mounted spares and I have hit this one while on the trail so off it went. I stick the spare in the rear if I feel I need it. I’ve been doing that with my Jeep for many years.
  11. Bronco build quality

    It's just OK.
  12. 7MT - clutch slave cylinder failure

A few months after owning mine I thought my clutch didn’t feel right. Last year I noticed a leak between the engine and transmission. They replaced the rear main seal and when they reinstalled the transmission, the clutch would not bleed and the fluid looked contaminated. The clutch master...
  13. WIN AN ARB AWNING & ROOM

I like ARB stuff. I have two fridge freezers.
  14. Manny tranny owners, would you do it again?

My original order was an automatic because you could not get the Sasquatch package with a manual. Then I had to reorder and you could. It would not have been a deal breaker for me. I think long trips it would be nice to have the manual. I did not expect to like the Bronco so much that I would...
  15. Aux Switch Live with Ignition Off

Yes. I used the already ran wires to have constant 12v in the rear cargo area for my fridge. I didn't use the switches. I just ran connected directly to the battery with a fuse holder. It would be cool if I could also use an Aux switch but I have not seen a post like that.
