Good on you for calling this out. I looked at this post and said to myself "Thanks Cptn Obvious." Then reflected for a moment that there are people who just don't know and might want to know.
It is still not great after reinstalling. It is connected to the head unit. Lost stations when it was gone. Maybe a different whip will do something else. It is not that big of a deal, just something that I noticed. Wondered if any others observed the same thing.
Dealer's body shop did fix this and it looks like they got it. Ford also stood by me the entire way and made sure to make it right. Even though I would have rather had it right from the get go, owning the issue and making things right brought me back to possibly getting another Ford in the...
I dig this solution. Thanks for taking the time to share. Have not installed them yet since I pre ordered, but this looks great. Will be adding PPF as well.
That is what I it was feeling like. As if had a shorty antenna. I am going to give reinstallation a try. Going to see what the difference is without and after reinstallation.
Was wondering if anyone has noticed if the tuning on their radio is not great. I do understand that this kind of thing has a bunch of external factors. I have the mid package (No HD radio) and it seems that I am constantly picking up static for stations that I normally listen to. I am only...
Yeah. Just thought that it was a humorous response.
That being said, the sand/salt really just etches. If you live in the north like I do, you just know it is part life. Never seen sand crack a windshield. I am sure it weakens things though. My experience, it is only rocks and asphalt lifted...
It's a design decision. Not a new concept and has been vetted on other cars. Makes the windows fitment tighter without the need for window rails. These are not the first convertibles to do this. Personally it was a major reason for me to go with the Bronco. The Bronco looks better than the jeep...
The Bronco is no substitute for a truck. No way. No how. If you really use your truck, you will miss it. That being said... The Bronco excels at fun. Good luck in making your decision.
Car is back at the dealer to figure out what exactly is wrong. Is it the Body or the Door that is causing the issue? That is what they are checking at this point. When I dropped it off again it was already showing that it was still rubbing even after visually seeing that they were able to move...
First attempt at fixing. 4 Days in the shop 02-21 to 02-24. Body shop said they moved it as much as the adjustments would allow. Door is further away from fender, which is good. Still way too close to the rocker. Water is still not draining. They also did not fix all the paint issues. Door is...
Thank you for this... Some of these threads while figuring things out can make it difficult to find info. Thanks for linking the thread also... shows what is being changed.
annnnd I just change my vote to V2. Let me know when available. I don't care on color... but I have a BB in VB.... so blue would not be bad for me. For me this is the best option at the price point.
I guess we are in the club that we don't want to be in. I am more than a little frustrated considering the cost of these. I went in knowing that there very well could be issues with a new line. But fit and finish .... come on.
Perfect... I am not the only one. I just discovered this when I went to wash my Bronco. I did not understand why inside of that door was so dirty when I just pressure washed the car. Looked closer and the water and dirt was being held back by the door. So I started to clean it by hand and...
