I installed the tune in my 2.3L Badlands SAS. It really woke this engine up. I don't struggle maintaining any speeds.

Exactly what I needed to know. I wonder if I get an extended if it'll at least recover everything but the power train; electronics, soft top, etc. Guess it's a question for a dealer but I feel each dealer may give a different answer, haha.

Warranty was too important to me as it's my first tune ever.

Hi all, I got the 2.3L Ford Performance Tune installed by a dealer at 2k miles just so I could get that 3yr 36k mile warranty. Does anyone know how this would affect if I were to purchase an extended warranty? I assume it may not cover engine issues once the tune warranty runs out?

Oh crap, I leave it plugged in. The dealer just hooked it up on the windshield automatically. Didn't say a word to me about unplugging.

I also got my tune installed yesterday on my Badlands 4D SAS. It really opens up this engine I feel. I'm really impressed with the shifting.

Ford Performance Tune gets installed tomorrow by a Ford dealership. I'm excited. While I don't think the 2.3L is a slouch, I worry about long term drivability when I start adding more weight; rock rails, gear, skid plates) on my Badlands SAS. I'm hoping this tune eases my concerns a bit.

Checked my J&L catch can after having it for 1,000mi. This seems like a lot to me. Currently at 2,400mi on my 2022 in Denver.

I haven't driven in bad weather yet but I do notice when I run the windshield wiper fluid, the last swipe is very slow when there is no water left on the windshield.
