  1. 2022 Bronco order help - can't decide between trims

...unless you want black interior. Then, Badlands is your only option. Really, Ford? @Ford Motor Company I wanted a Wildtrak, but I can only get black interior with the Badlands. Wildtrak = Sandstone/Black. Outer Banks = Roast/Black or Navy/Gray. Interior decided everything for me.
  2. AR | S.I.T.H. Modular Bumper Shackle - Common Hardware REIMAGINED

Anyone notice the license plate mount?
  3. Area 51 XPEL stealth PPF wrapped Wildtrak w/ matte grille, painted letters, Black Rhino, Magnaflow, Bodyguard

How did you accomplish the matte grille? I think it matches the Bronco better than the gloss black or grey.

  5. Motor Trend says Bronco has "poor build quality". Fact or Bias?

That's very encouraging to hear. Thanks for the feedback.
  6. Motor Trend says Bronco has "poor build quality". Fact or Bias?

I haven't received mine, but I'm concerned about the build quality. MIC issues, top leaks, hoses contacting pulleys, hose clamps not tightened, paint removed due to doors/tailgate not aligned properly, etc. Quality control appears to be suspect. I hope I'm wrong for being concerned.

  8. FINAL UPDATE: Complete Engine Failure - SAS Big Bend - 3wk Old / 1000mi / 2.7L EcoBoost

Based on the 5-10 other threads where a catastrophic engine failure occured, Ford's protocol seems to be engine replacement. It will be interesting to see if this holds true in this instance.
  9. Details & update for 2021 Bronco Badlands with steering rack failure on King of the Hill K2 Trail

I live in SA. Never been impressed with the dealer you took it to for repair. I’d try another dealer like Red McCombs or Ford of Boerne. I would think Ford would cover it under warranty. I would also think they would want the parts to perform a failure analysis to improve in the future. Good...

  11. A Pillar Leak Summary (Solutions?)

Make sure Ford knows the issue. Engineers can't fix it, if they don't know about it.
  12. Where to buy replacement black beauty rings?

Just an FYI. I called a local wheel shop that I trust. They powder coat beauty rings for the dealerships. They quoted $25/ring to black powder coat to match. Significantly cheaper than buying new beauty rings.
  13. Best bronco carwash tool!

I don't know if anyone else has tried this product, but it's awesome. I do like the orignial poster said and use the leaf blower to get 99% of the water off. The water just runs on the truck. I finish it by going over everything with a barely damp microfiber cloth or Bead Maker. It really helps...
  14. 5500 Km update and impressions!

Hard to tell from the pictures, but could it possibly be rail dust from transport? Oh…nice Bronco and beautiful Viper.
  15. New Models/Upgrades Coming for 2022/2023 says Levine

The interior color choices are horrible and make no sense. Keep it simple - black, gray, darker tan/lighter tan. That covers most people. I feel like they dug up some interior designers from the 1970s who were even bad back then.
  16. My 2 Week, 1000 Mile Review [4-Door Wildtrak]

Helpful writeup...thanks. It seems odd to me that Ford only offers one interior color choice on the Wildtrak. I'm not a fan of tan interior (in general), either. However, I do agree that the Wildtrak interior is much better in person that in pictures. Since I'm holding out for the MIC top, my...
