A few years ago my sons 68 Bronco broke down on the eve of the Big Bear Bronco Bash. He was already registered for some runs so he and I took my LJ and ran Holcomb Creek, Gold Mountain etc. Other than the few expected jokes everything went great and my Son even won one of the big door prizes. 😎

I purchased a roll away from Harbor Freight for the garage at our vacation home and it seems to be pretty good for the price.😎

In regards to the braking system I use the Ready Brute Elite tow bar with the surge brake to tow my Jeep LJ. I find it works great and is cheaper than the electric ones.😎

When the Ford Flex first came out we bought a dealer demo for way under MSRP. We were looking for a mid level unit and walked away with a Limited with rear buckets, refrigerator/freezer in rear console, Rear DVD system and all the other bells and whistles for less. We still have it 12 years...

One of the biggest problems? I have used bestop tube doors on my LJ for years, it only take a couple minutes to move the mirrors from the jeep doors to the tube doors. three screws each with a tee handled hex wrench.😎

I don’t consider “angry eyes” or chrome to be off-road modifications as they are just ornamental Like stickers and such. large diameter rims and low profile tires are actually detrimental to a vehicles off road performance.😎

The wife and I discussed this early on and decided on. 2 door to replace our Jeep LJ. then as time wore on we decided to replace her Ford Flex with a 4 door and keep the Jeep for a while. We’re retired in our mid 60’s.😎

Back in the 80’s I pulled a Scamp with a VW Rabbit with no issues. It had brakes and no WDH.😎
