Richmond Ford Lincoln has been so difficult to get any information or a response from. They are pretty high on my shit list after the salesman handling the Bronco orders lied to me twice which resulted in my order not being changed prior to VIN assignments even though he had over 3 weeks to make...
I called Ford directly to get the answer my dealership couldn't be bothered to provide. It would be great if Ford would re-email those with VINs their updated build week but it seems they have tried it once or twice without success. I'm starting to wonder if Ford is run by interns.
I got tired of waiting for my dealership to do their job (i specifically asked them to update me on my build week when I did not receive an email from Ford) and called Ford to find my updated build week. I tried the marketing number and got more Ford run around with one number but was able to...
but Ford really isnt communicating because there are plenty of people with VINs who got no emails. Some people got no emails and contacted their dealer to find out their date moved. I have not heard a peep from Ford regarding my 6/28 date.
I kind of think the body armor one is worth the price. Figure all the extra wiring for the extra front and rear lights, moving all of the sensors around and wiring for the winch. Still a bit pricey tho.
get some Rain-X and a squeegee and save yourself the money on the hard top. I wanted a hard top but then i saw how little the wiper covered and switched to soft top.
So if I call my dealer and ask them to look in WBDO they should be able to tell me if my build has been moved? Richmond Ford is really good at giving you the run around.
I think the real question that needs to be asked is those who are getting emails about a rescheduled build date, soft top or MIC build? I have a 6/28 date and have not received a reschedule email.
i had given changes to my Ford dealer prior to the priority orders and they decided to wait until my order was pulled to try and apply the changes even though they had told me weeks prior that the changes were made.
I got my email today.
i'm a evening 7/14 reservation.
I was #39 at my dealer in Richmond.
4 Door Cyber Orange Badlands
2.7L, Sasquatch, Standard Package
If anyone is curious the trunk mat that is in the Silver Badlands is from the accessories catalog. I asked the Ford reps in Richmond about it and they had to go find their Bronco bibles to be able to confirm they are from the accessories catalog.
I really wish they had the Broncos out in the sun in Richmond and not under tents to get a true idea of AMB on a Bronco. I still think that I will fully enjoy Cyber Orange instead as I already own a black vehicle and keeping it nice and clean is a way of life.
only the back of the seat and the head rest move to fold the seats flat. the horizontal seat cushion is locked in place at both attachment points of the vertical support.
I feel like the only under-utilized space in the Bronco is under the rear seats in the 4 door. The mounting to the floor is fixed and there is enough space for some cargo netting, lockable drawers or lockable compartments. I might have to build a couple of storage boxes for some Yankem Ropes.
