That's a fair point. Most IFS cross member kits start at 4 inches. @Razorback if your goal is 37's you are probably better off not going sas from the factory, save yourself a few grand and use that money towards an aftermarket 4" lift and some nice 37's.
Give it time. The aftermarket will come out with multiple lift kit options. There are plenty of IFS trucks out there with lift kits well beyond 2 inches.
I'd be surprised if its not a Bronco Sport instead. They had one at Crown Ford in Lynbrook 6 or 8 weeks ago. It was just a walk around, no test drives. If you knew for sure, I would definitely take a drive over there.
I am going with the Wildtrak. MIC hard top is standard but there is an add on option for "hard top sound deadening headliner" for $495. But, high package also includes "additional sound deadening" - guessing that is in places other than the hard top.
Nope. I'm with Crown Ford in Lynbrook. Nothing yet. Is the additional $500 normal? Haven't heard of that before. Thought next payment would be the down payment.
Can MIC be painted (at least the exterior) by a body shop for the $1,895 (or less) drop in msrp?
If not, I may just elect to wait it out.... I reserved the Wildtrak in A51 which I personally think looks like crap with a MIC top.
Or... wonder if we can order with soft top and black hard top on...
I would assume you're gonna have to pay NY sales tax regardless of who you buy it from. Just be careful you don't get stuck paying WV sales tax and NY sales tax... Thanks for the updates, keep us posted.
I know some of you guys made your reservation through Crown Ford in Lynbrook (as did I). Have you heard anything from them? Any idea how many reservations they collected? Are we still confident they are not charging any ADM?
Well this thread is a little depressing.... clearly lots of creeps out there who just can leave well enough alone or respect other people's property. When it comes to the first few years of the 6g Bronco, I'm sure it will be a target.
Good luck!
With something like 300k+ reservations so far there is still a lot of room for growth here. This is a great forum. I was a lurker for weaks before registering. Learned alot. Even referred @MacFly before actually joining myself.
12k is gonna be a drop in the bucket by the time our...
All I got was a form email asking if I was still interested in the Bronco and that their "in stock" inventory has changed... I've emailed twice with no response yet. I should probably pick up the phone and call.
I want some swag!?
Thanks. Guess that answers my question... about 200 people of the roughly 4300 on the list so far have reserved more than one. Ford BROnco, You've got some mad spreadsheet skills my friend. Impressive.
Proudly added my Wildtrak reservation to the list yesterday. Admission: I said yes to Wrangler but it was actually an old '75 CJ 5 back in High School - what a blast that thing was! Fire engine red, 31" mud tires, fast back soft top and a 3 speed manual!
Any stats on how many people have more...
5k feels like the right number to me given the build, gvwr of the 4 door and the 2.7l. Understood that these are all prelim stats by Ford but also strange that engine selection and 2/4 door options don't change the rating... would be nice if optional Towing "Package" ultimately includes more...
