I’ve seen a couple of dealers that seem to think they’ll have them by December. I believe the plan is for most dealerships to have 2 for the showroom.
I've seen this thinking a couple of times with no evidence supporting it. To me, it seems like Ford is worried about producing these as fast as possible and getting them to customers as fast as possible. If that's the case, it would make sense to me that dealers with more reservations would get...
I've seen a couple threads like this one where people seem to suggest that these features encourage distracted driving and I don't think that's true. People are so addicted to their phones they will absolutely be on it safety features or not.
I think it's important to note even if you order you're not committed to buying it. I think dealers are counting on some orders not converting to the reservation holders because that's the only way they'll have stock in hand and they could mark those up.
This is definitely part of the risk but I'll share why I changed my reservation to @Granger Ford . Dealers seem to find out information at about the same pace we do from Ford. Granger has been active on the forms for months sharing information and being transparent and answering questions...
I told my GF that's kind of crazy that Ford probably has about ~200,000 reservations but apparently had ~500,000 completed B&P in the first week. Then she asked how many I had done personally and it made me think at least 30% of those have to be members of this forum ?
I was talking about the difference in pricing and processing fees in a discord I'm in and had a friend who also reserved messaged me privately. His dealership is only doing MSRP and told him "An offer under invoice doesn't make sense". I sent him a couple of different threads in here and now...
General best practice is to walk in with finance in hand and see if your dealership can beat it. I got 3.9% on a new car when I had just graduated college and rates have gone down significantly since then. I personally can't imagine the fed will raise rates much if at all before next summer/end...
This was my thought with the mid package. I wasn't too concerned with most of the features but all those safety features for $1,400? If they prevent an accident even once over ownership of the vehicle immediately worth it.
In response to your first question all the broncos come with a keyfob and are push to start. The keypad is an additional feature that some people find valuable.
This is happening on the Big Bend as well. It's unclear if this is an error by design. Considering the auto transmission by itself is like $1,600 it seems improbable they would include it for free with the mids package. It's also showing that the price of an automatic transmission is included in...
I'd imagine switching roofs would be easy since at one point they were going to offer a dual option. They've also said that if you are a my22 order you will be able to make changes reflecting the MY22 options so you could get a white roof.
