    I may be wrong, but it may be because of your parking sensors, I haven't seen the factory installed unit with the sensors. It's not a difficult install by any means, I did it by myself one Saturday (Chinese copy), drilling 1-1/8" holes for the middle sensors, no extensions needed by unwrapping...

    A "strut" provides structural support as well as absorbing bumps, a "shock" just absorbs bumps...

    Actually they are "Coil Over Shocks", not struts!

    I have no idea, but the winch doesn't block the sensor at all, only upward view is restricted, which doesn't matter.
