I found a source for high quality stainless quick links with sizes down to 5/16ā that should be fine for our Broncos. I ordered 3/8ā (10mm). I also finished my bumper install yesterday, more on that in another post...
2/14, 2/28 and 3/14 for build dates then my estimated delivery date moved five or six times. My build dates moved back in late January or early February during the plant shut down.
Iāll have one available next week along with a full set of bash plates. I live in Reno so it might be a little far for you to drive but Iād head south for 70-80 miles to shorten your drive. I just took delivery yesterday and will be swapping the bumper tomorrow and Monday so itāll be available...
Have fun at the meet, hereās a picture and today I start adding the modās. Iāll wash it soon and get the tire gloss off. The dealer apparently likes that lookā¦.
Lastly, hereās to hoping the remaining 3/14āers get theirs sooner than later. For me the last 30 days, at the Richmond, CA rail...
Two questions:
Is this the link you used to file the claim?
https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#vehicle/vehicle-information
Is there a link to look up active cases on the same issue? Iām wondering if any non-Bronco Ford owners with EBB have filed cases.
You could edit your post but itās apparent we all think you got it right the first time! Below is a gift for future use!
My Bronco got delivered to my dealer this morning so tomorrow, after 643 days of waiting, I can officially join this frustrated crew of 2.7 owners who flat tow. Getting the...
21 months and 3 days or 642 total days after making the reservation and 30 days after the train arrived in Richmond, CA my Bronco has finally arrived at my dealer. Iāll pick it tomorrow š
It was there early this morning or late yesterday and the trackers havenāt updated showing itās delivered...
Dang, mine has been sitting in a rail yard north of all of you in Richmond for 29 days and counting. I wish the Richmond yard was clearing out like the Mira Loma yard. There must be more trucks available in SoCal than the Bay Areaā¦.
Iām on month 21 of my wait and should have it soon. It was shipped 6 weeks ago and has been sitting in a rail yard a few hours away for over 4 weeks. If and when I get it Iāll be more active in directly pressing Ford for a resolution but the guys on the other thread have been doing a good job...
The electric brake boost on the 2.7 shuts down after 10 - 45 minutes rendering your auxiliary brake system ineffective. See link below for detail and if you have a 2.7 good luck getting @Ford Motor Company to step up and take ownership of the problem and provide a resolution or even acknowledge...
First off, congratulations on your retirement! I did the same 13 months ago and Iām hear to tell you itās awesome. Thatās a nice milestone to reach and youāve got a toy to play with!!!
No word on my Bronco, my estimated delivery on the tracker is holding at 5/3 to 5/9 so Iām still hopeful but...
Itās about damn time!!! Congratulations!!!
Looks like Iām going to be one of the first ones in and the very last one out of the Richmond yard. Tomorrow will be a month since it was unloaded from the train :cautious:
Iām holding out hope my delivery date holds this week and my 7th...
So you have an ETA but no ship date? Does the ETA show on the online tracker? Asking because itās uncommon to have an ETA without the Bronco being shipped.
I drove by my dealer this afternoon and there were 6, yes six, Broncos on the back lot that were delivered today! Gotta get those in line in front of me out of the way so I move up to next in line and those six along with the ones delivered earlier this week outta do it! Iām really optimistic...
