  1. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

Is this news to anyone? I thought it was common knowledge. The color is named by Americans, hence the spelling
  2. Here starts the dealer games

Dealer games started in 2000 BCE
  3. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

    Incorrectamundo
  4. 2 door base Sasquatch 2.3 vs. 2.7?

Port injection, cgi block, R60 handles 3.0 application just fine. 2.7 for me, no second thought about it!
  5. What orders are being held?

They’re being held and cradled to show them a manufacturer’s love
  6. Hood Gap

I get what you’re saying. To my eye, though, I don’t see anything bad enough that it would obviously would fall outside of any manufacturing tolerance / spec on my Bronco OTHER than the top. There is a certain amount of variance or imperfection that has to be permitted. As for the hood’s...
  7. Dealer not too freindly

Could’ve been a customer’s and not a mannequin, in which case I’d be very thankful for the dealer keeping it locked up
  8. Why people are disappointed…

It was a strange sentiment to encounter, given this is my first FoMoCo purchase. I feel like the dealership should be pumping me up on the vehicle and the brand rather then encouraging scalping or getting rid of my first Ford immediately after purchase!
  9. Why people are disappointed…

Lots will be flipped, mostly for profit IMO When I was picking mine up, my salesman, the finance guy, and other employees all said if they were me they’d run home and list on eBay given how much they are going for. The finance guy straight up told me he only ordered to resell and won’t even...
  10. Why people are disappointed…

I drove a SAS BB at my dealer a couple days before pickup, felt the same. I think I had just been thrown off by forum commenters on what it “should” feel like. I’m in no way complaining or saying it’s uncomfortable, just to be clear!
  11. Hood Gap

The hood doesn’t bother me at all. I do have 3ish nits right now that are too small to post or mention probably, but I will anyway: 1. On the driver’s side, the trailing edge of the driver’s door looks to be a mm or 2 lower than it should be to line up exactly with the leading edge of the rear...
  12. Why people are disappointed…

Recently this is definitely true after the JL left the stable, though a 4runner used to have its place. I’ve usually had an on-road and off-road-ish focused vehicle. But it’s been about a year since I got rid of the JL, so that’s why I think I’ve kind of lost a good baseline for comparing the...
  13. Seat belt ratcheting...any current Bronco owners

Just tested it out. It does do it, pull belt all the way out = ratchets. The belts are quiteeeee long though
  14. Why people are disappointed…

New novel construction technique, in a completely new factory, with a completely new staff (when they can find staff)
  15. Hood Gap

IMO don’t relate the QC on the top to the QC of the rest of the vehicle. Mine is pretty good. If I knew a good shop I’d still have a couple very minor things adjusted just because of how picky I am, but overall I’m pretty impressed. Ignoring the top, definitely well ahead of my 19 JLU’s QC.
  16. Why people are disappointed…

Oh, that’s possible. I meant a normal removable hard top a la Jeep haha
  17. Why people are disappointed…

Hard is 100% fine for harsh weather, and many say modern soft tops are as well
  18. Why people are disappointed…

I’m still getting used to the ride and handling in my FE. I sold my JLU just long enough ago for my muscle memory to have been completely rewritten by the only car I’ve been driving since, a much sportier and lower-slung car. I will say the SAS doesn’t strike me nearly as soft as I was...
