none so far. Install was pretty easy. Definitely recommend exhaust hanger pliers. Did highway driving today. no drone. ice smooth sound. and great look with the dual carbon fiber.
Just installed the AFE Vulcan axel back dual exhaust with the carbon fiber tips. I think it sounds better than stock. Nice tone. Not to loud. And really looks great. Also wife and I both agree it runs better. Its no V8 but definite improvement.
I have one. And experience the same sound. Asked the tech about it as well and they said is was normal. Going in for oil change in recalls in a couple weeks I will ask them again. Doesn't seem to be causing any issue. it sounds like an after market BOV might solve the issue bit not sure I want...
Definitely having the same issue. Just want to know what im talking about when I take it in? When I asked the dealer about this awhile ago they did not know what it was. Would a new aftermarket BOV fix the issue or just have the dealership install a new one? Thanks for the knowledge.
Can anyone help with this noise when I rev the engine? It sounds like possible BOV but not exactly sure. Also when I am driving after I take my foot off the gas. Thanks
Mine makes the same noise. Drives fine. Been happening since I've owned it. Dealer said its not an issue and didn't know what it was. Needles to say I will be following this thread.
Installed a pedal commander on my 2.3 MT and made a huge difference with get offs and turbo lag. Also considering the piggy back tuner from AFe 30 hp gaIN for little cost. Check out the Motors video on the Afe scorcher.
I have a 4 door badlands 7MT. Average about 17MPG around town. Great little engine. ton of pep. Just installed a pedal commander and wow. what a difference. The turbo lag is gone and it livens up the 2.3. We will see what happens to. the MPG. But right now not really concerned. Super fun.
For me it was the exhaust inlet pipe. not sure where exactly. The parts took 6 weeks to get in but once they replaced it. no rattle or noise. also filed a claim with ford and kept the ford people in contact with the dealership people to keep things moving. I have audio clips too or send me an...
So an update on this rattling noise. It was a bent inlet exhaust pipe. That apparently got bent from the factory. It took 4-5 weeks to get the part in. They fixed it today and so far so good. No rattling noise.
Ya mine is the inlet pipe which I guess is located in the front of the vehicle. still waiting on the part. Backordered and its low priority because its not causing any other damage. its just annoying.
