I know this is a my dealer said thing….
But, I had several dealers tell me they did not think the hard tops were holding up the builds anymore. They both stated that the chips were the new hold up and not to worry about the hard top.
I was just out driving some of the dealer demos to try and...
Me either. It’s just down the road 8 miles from the dealer. Not the dealer or Ford can tell me why it is on a hold and what could possibly be done to it at the rail yard.
Super strange
Mine shipped on 2/9 and has been pushed over and over again. Currently showing a 4/23 delivery date.
It is off the train but sitting in a rail yard “On Hold Ford motor company” showing on the information section.
This hold did not appear until after several delivery dates came and went.
I spent two years at Niceville high school and graduated from Choctaw so I’m a local.
I move a lot for work now but my Family still lives there so we go home to visit a bunch.
Even after shipped and taken off the train, there is no telling when it will get there.
Mine has been 8 miles from the dealership in a rail yard for a month and a week. Well last night I just got pushed all the way out to April 23rd.
That will be two months and four days in the rail yard...
Well mine was pushed out again. 8.1 miles from the dealership at the rail yard and now I’m showing April 23rd for the delivery date.
That will be well over two months at the rail yard IF it is delivered on that date.
Why @Ford Motor Company
I could understand the typical rail yard holdup but the trucking company can’t pick mine up because of the “plant hold”. Dozens of other fords have been picked up along with 3-4 other broncos while mine sits.
Just does not make sense. It’s been over 5 weeks now.
Just bumping this to see if there are any updates or anyone else in the same situation.
I read the response about this being something about Broncos being delivered without chips but wouldn’t said Broncos be delivered to the dealership? What would be installed at a rail yard?
Some kind of...
I agree, this has been an awful experience for sure.
I have a Raptor and a GT350. If this Bronco ever comes in it might be my last Ford. I totally understand the problem with parts shortages, Covid shutdowns, etc. What I don’t get is the complete lack of communications with what is going on...
I’m there also!
In Transit Delay - Plant Hold Birmingham, AL Mar-08-2022, 17:28 UTC Apr-02-2022 Apr-08-2022
That’s 8 miles from the dealer.
It’s been over a month just sitting in the rail yard. My dealer has not one idea what’s going on with it.
Help me @Ford Motor Company
I reached...
I really don’t know either. Someone had a theory that the “plant hold” was still in there by mistake. Mine did have a short stay on ice mountain and showed a “chip hold” for a few days (maybe 5 ish). The theory is that that same chip hold is still showing and holding it up now at the rail...
Does anyone know what is going on that you have talked with?
Would anything actually be fixed in a rail yard? Why not take it to the dealer to be fixed?
Is it some kind of transport damage? If so, they are not doing body work at a rail yard.
Just does not make sense to me.
So an update on mine. I don’t know if anyone else is in this strange situation but as more of you get shipped, that might change.
1/28 blend, 1289/2270, built 2/2, shipped 2/9.
It made it to the rail yard 8.1 miles from the dealership on the 19th. A month and a few days ago. No movement...
In my opinion that is the biggest problem most have with this whole Bronco launch.
We are all big boys and girls. We could handle whatever the time is. Just give it to us strait. 3 months, 18 months, whatever the number is would be ok. But don’t just leave 100,000 people waiting on a $30k-$60k...
I have driven both and did not notice much of a difference.
The only time the ride really stood out to me was between the Sasquatch and non Sasquatch.
The Sasquatch rides a lot better imo with a softer ride.
I use this feature all the time on my F150. The ford pass does not work because I don’t bring a phone either.
Throw everything in the truck, lock doors and jump on the jet skis.
I own a Raptor and a Shelby. Love both of them.
I would not say I’m a Ford person though. If another company made a better product, I would jump ship.
Let’s say there was an announcement tomorrow that Toyota was making a new FJ. This said FJ would be a convertible, doors off, wheeling...
Four door, race red, badlands, soft top with the modular bumper anyone?
I know race red is super rare so probably not going to happen. I don’t think I’ll see my own since it’s been built since 1/28.
