It's just my humble opinion - whether people will ultimately use them or not - every Bronco should come standard with a rear locker and advanced 4x4 - even if it came at a $500-$1,000 premium on the base price of the vehicle.
It's an off road vehicle and although it is capable without rear...
I believe heated seats are a must to enjoy the soft top in full.
Never knew I needed a heated steering wheel until I had it on my CRV - I would say that it's a feature I would want on my Bronco if I ordered it again.
Ford isn't the only manufacturer doing this - Chevy has been shipping...
It's okay to be a Ford fanboy and also be critical of the brand and models when they fall short of expectations. The Bronco far exceeds expectations in some areas but also comes up woefully short in others.
There is no debate - the plastic cowl is complete trash and Ford should have done...
I can accept the MPG angle as there is a legit point to be made about aero and drag.
The MIC provides zero structural integrity and if you think it does I challenge you to jump on top of yours and show me how strong it is.
Oh come on the hardtop can't handle wax, sun, or even light moisture and you're gonna tell me it adds structural rigidity to the Bronco....
It's cardboard with 3mm of plastic sprayed on it.
That's fair but where I live getting shot at on the freeway happens, a lot. In fact, my bumper has a hole from some nutsack firing a .22 randomly.
Again - backroads Georgia vs. Columbus are not the same but my 3 is proof of it.
Hey I learned something new about the 80 series LCs - They call it full time 4wd but it operates more like subaru's symmetrical AWD but with front and rear lockers and 4L - that's pretty impressive!
So if you're coming from an 80 series LC I can understand where your head was at.
Don't worry -...
Well, lots of people say IFS doesn't flex because...well...it doesn't.
Your front suspension has not flexed much at all in any of those pictures - not compared to SFA.
Actually - its the worst part of the Bronco if you ask me. FoMoCo is awful. They have terrible reliability, more recalls than any other manufacturer, they suck at warranty claims, their QC is garbage, their dealer network is full of scum of the earth.
But the Bronco and the design are perfect...
Late to the game but it is condensation from the AC and it drips on your catalytic converter. I noticed it early on when I drove the dealer demo and every demo after that also displayed the same behavior.
Can't bode well for the cat long term.
