  1. 2.3 VS 2.7 when going with automatic transmission?

I always enjoy people trying to reason that the 2.7L is needed because they need to be able to merge onto the freeway and the 2.3L won't be enough. Do they think every vehicle pre-2005 when 300hp was exceedingly rare on anything outside of supercars and muscle cars just crashes and burns every...
  2. Ford Bronco Montana Lobo Concept

Y'all are crazy. Give me those big sexy bubble doors!
  3. This "Proudly Made in the U.S.A. Michigan Assembly Plant" sticker will be on windshields of all Broncos produced at MAP

It's been right there in front of us the whole time! It's Michigan Assembly Plant, not Michigan Makesembly Plant.
  4. This "Proudly Made in the U.S.A. Michigan Assembly Plant" sticker will be on windshields of all Broncos produced at MAP

Hey, do you all have an outlet I can plug my hair dryer into to remove this sticker you put on the car?
  5. Are May emails still gonna be a thing?

I mean yeah, they're being a bit pissy, but they could be perfectly fine and able to afford a $50k car and still be in the pickle they are in and upset about it. Scenario: You have an aging vehicle you're getting ready to replace. Ford announces the Bronco. It's everything you've wanted...
  6. Velocity Blue 4-Door Fastback at MAP Showing First Window Sticker Without "Not For Sale" Label

But the BD has almost the same MPG as the sasquatch and the sasquatch has the same MPG as the badlands. The gearing and weight seems to be the much bigger culprit than the tires
  7. Introducing Yellowstone - New Color for 2022 Bronco

This is the single best picture I've seen for showing that Cyber Orange is orange and also yellow. Its a tri-coat paint. In the shade its primarily orange (alight orange, but still orange) and in the light all that yellow shines through. I don't know how someone could look at the shaded parts...
  8. The longer the wait, the more I question my build.

7/14 reservation and been active on this forum since. Last summer was here everyday hoping for any bit of trickled news and updates to come out like a hamster at it's water feeder. Build and price comes out and I get to spend day after day building 100 different versions of this thing to...

These aren't golfcarts. Tesla's all have 350+ mile range, the Mach-E has 300+, several others at 250+ and again this is just the beginning. Electric vehicles have barely even been "mainstream" for5 years now. Most manufacturers just now are starting to offer electric vehicles, but this 30...

Again though you're focusing on how things are today and not how they can be. The grid will not stay the way it is currently forever and investment is in alternative energies not coal. The proportion of energy sourced from coal will only continue to decrease with time. As for rural charging...

I mean the number one thing people seem to talk about with battery electric vehicles is convenience and ability to charge. It's not a flip that will be switched overnight. Infrastructure will grow with the wider adoption of the vehicle. The landscape for electric vehicles is at an inflection...

They're massively subsidized so I'm not sure it's fair to say they pay their own way plus some.
  14. Gas mileage calculator help me get over my concerns

This is almost certainly the case. If you're just cruising at constant highway speed it won't make a difference. There's only so much to be done for a 5000 lb brick once it's going 70mph.
  15. Ford should of not made so many bronco models

They could have 100 trims or just 1, as long as Webasto keeps fucking up the hardtops, won't make a difference to how many vehicles they can actually build.
  16. Heart Skipped A Beat

Follow your heart. The Bronco isn't a subtle vehicle so why should the paint not be loud and expressive? Do what moves you. To add: Owned a Tornado Red Volkswagen which was not the most sporty vehicle, but I sure enjoyed the color. Bright red like race red does a pretty good job of looking...
  17. Broncos on display at the Twin Cities Auto Show!

I liked it more than the painted top from the get-go... I only started hating it over the last few weeks cause it's making everyone have to wait longer for their damn Bronco.
  18. The gas shortage.

I mean, let's be real in most of these hacking cases they are carried out by hackers directly employed by foreign governments so in a sense they do have a real job it's just that their real job is to conduct cyber-attacks against the US.
  19. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

This just adds to the confusion. So the 2.7L gets worse MPG than the 2.3 for Base, Big Bend, OBX, but manages to improve for the Black Diamond? Additionally, the Black Diamond gets the same MPG as the sasquatch on 35s for the 2.3L engine?
