  1. Mach-E driver's panicked search stops four times on 200-mile trip looking for charging station

How dare you bring logic into this discussion. If an EV doesn't make sense for my 400 mile commute and compulsive weekly cross-country road trips through the most remote regions of the US then the EV is a worthless gimmick that shouldn't exist and nobody should buy them.
  2. Mach-E driver's panicked search stops four times on 200-mile trip looking for charging station

You can't look at the climatic history of the Earth and use it to compare against human's ability to survive it. What you are describing is a climatic process that occurs over millions of years. Humans have existed for ~200,000 and you are looking at a "hothouse" climate that this planet...
  3. Mach-E driver's panicked search stops four times on 200-mile trip looking for charging station

I mean... it wasn't adopted because nobody has pushed it far enough to be viable yet. If Toyota has been so gung-ho about it and it's still not even remotely available, it probably isn't as easily implemented as battery is. I agree that current battery EV tech is a stop-gap technology and I do...
  4. Mach-E driver's panicked search stops four times on 200-mile trip looking for charging station

Ehh, the language of Tesla's patent use terms is pretty sketchy and opens up anyone who does to Tesla using any of their IP as well. So it doesn't surprise me that major auto manufacturers weren't willing to open up their entire IP to Tesla for Tesla patents vs buying technology off other firms...
  5. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

It doesn't matter when you converted to an order at this point. Only thing order date was for is if you didn't get an order in by 3/19 you weren't eligible for a build date during the first 90 says of production. Only things that matter is reservation timestamp (kinda), dealer allocation...
  6. Car and Driver Review: 2021 Bronco Goes Big, Sticks the Landing (w/ tested acceleration & MPG figures)

4 Door at a mile+ in altitude starting from 1st (Car and Driver started in second).
  7. Photos of Tailgate Table and Weight Limit

Yeah, I can't quite tell if they get around it by going under the bumpout, or if the sliding wood extension is narrower than the foldout table and just comes out in front of the bumpout, but it looks like the design would be no different for the Bronco.
  8. No Bronco Scheduling Week of 7/26

What do you mean? They sent out a sticker with some sketches of a bronco. It was super informative!
  9. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Man I'm a sucker for bronze wheels. They'd look pretty rough on cyber orange (if and whenever I finally get a Bronco), but they look super good with that carb grey, and the old Subaru rally fan in me would 100% feel obligated to get them with Velocity Blue if that were the color I was getting...
  10. Bronco 2.3L versus Wrangler 3.6L then faces up against a Ram

Well this is only because the Bronco driver was granny shifting, not double clutching like they should. They're lucky that 100-shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake.
  11. Tuning of 2.7L Looks to be Limited

I mean the trans being the limiting factor says absolutely nothing about the 2.7L Ecoboost engine. Even without a tune, it already blows the pants off of 1990's V8s.
  12. Any reviews or demos of non-squatch Black Diamond offroad?

With Broncos now getting into the hands of owners and reviewers do we have anything yet on the the non-squatch BD and it's offroad capabilities? For a trim that is marketed as the entry level rugged offroader trim, I have seen exactly 0 videos, images, or reviews of one of these things doing...
  13. 5 Good / Bad Things About Bronco First Edition Sasquatch – Owner Video

I have you beat. On my Abarth it will scream at you with like a 5 second long siren if you dare to turn the ignition without already being buckled (regardless of the fact that you aren't even moving yet).
  14. It’s been a year… how long will this go on?

Me to my wife July 14th 2020, well we got our reservation in in the first 24 hours. We should get ours early summer 2021 and have it to enjoy and explore all summer long. Me to my wife January 2021, well there has been some delays which is understandable, but still even so maybe we move back...
  15. It’s been a year… how long will this go on?

Yes, let's add even more layers of complexity to the enigma that is Ford's build scheduling.
  16. Thoughts on pending market crash?

What are you doing at 3 in the morning trying to start a political argument on this forum?
  17. September Bronco Production Sample Data

I mean there are a few additional rumors for '22 (maybe confirmed) such as either roof or roof rack redesign to allow use on Squatch 4 doors.
