Hey, what would you recommend for rust protection on these screws. My caps blew off in some tough winds and waiting for replacements. I was going to use WD-40, but if there is something that will last longer or would be a better option?

They will most likely replace the entire rear cap and take the glass off of your old rear cap and put it on your new rear cap. That’s what they did with mine when it was replaced

I checked out a Badlands at the dealer and it seems like the three tabs were held down by the seatbelt or the seat, but wasn’t secured with any adhesive or attachments and the weight of the floor just was held down by itself. It took about 2-3 days for mine, the body shop had to contract a glass shop to remove the windows from the old rear shell and install on the new one. It's just a matter of coordinating and how busy the dealer is.

I've tried that, I may need seat rail extender because the seat doesn't go back far enough for me with my long legs to work in the Bronco. Would've been nice to have the F-150's working table top and gear shift fold down though!

I also purchase an extended warranty and was told that it would not cover my hardtop, and any issues would be considered wear and tear. So whether its yours or transferred to someone else outside of the delamination or TSB its not covered.

I'm sure the 2025 refresh will have mods similar to the chinese bronco with fenders, software and possible better hard top options...hopefully the modular
