Yep, these Old Man Emu kits have been the gold standard for the overlanding community for years. If you’re focused on multi-weeks/months of long-distance travel in all types of terrain, crossing international borders at max payloads, you’d be hard pressed to find a more dialed in and dependable Kit.
Where did the time go? Sure doesn't feel like three years since model launch. On the other hand, the wait to take delivery on a factory order? Yep, that aged me.
I'm in Frederick County too. Although I'm focused on long-range overlanding, I've just picked up a Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) Mid-Atlantic Region Map to find our area dirt, gravel and linked paved road trails for some weekend "wandering". Although the maps are aimed at adventure...
Superlatives like "big", "easy" or "hard" are difficult to gauge thru each other's experiences. So let's just say this... I'm not a auto sound/audio installer. Though this was my first time installing this product, I found the process to be pretty easy (and strangely satisfying). You just need...
So tell us more: model, color, 2-Dr / 4-Dr? engine option? etc.
I wouldn’t begrudge you your success in finding a vehicle locally on a lot that fits your use-case. For me, I waited 10 months in total (order to delivery) but it was worth it to get exactly what I wanted.
Finally assembled the bits and pieces gathered from 67 Designs and Archetype Racing up on the dash to be able to mount our phones and Go-Pro. Probably would have gone with all 67 Designs but the BAM Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Rail by Archetype Racing finished in a gorgeous cerakote similar to...
Put me down for a set of these lights for my 2022 Badlands. I also will cast a vote for adding the capability to alternate between white or red lens. Sometimes you need to go tactical and having the red lens lighting really helps you find what you need in the truck at night without destroying...
USSpeedo.com does these overlays for Bronco too in different colors. https://www.usspeedo.com/product/daytona-edition-custom-gauge-face-for-2021-2022-ford-bronco/
The install takes a bit to get into the dash and take apart that face. Install video here at

Never got an assembly line photo but, hey, I'm not complaining. I'm just thankful mine was built and delivered at the end of October (2022). Here's the pic as I walked up to the dealer to collect it. And the second pic is me tearing it down and adding stuff.

@Emmitt regarding order-ship time. I think it took almost three weeks from order to delivery (ordered in November / arrived in December). Goose Gear sells their stuff thru dealers so I ordered the plate from Main Line Overland online. I'm eyeing that fridge slide too. What fridge did you choose...
There's some great space to be gained with the rear seat delete. I have kids so seats have to stay. I have to really think thru how to best configure the rear cargo area to maximize capability and storage. Have to admit, I like the mental puzzle of the whole thing.
Got some time off from work to spend in the garage. Tore out the back cargo area and installed the Dynamat kit for that location.
While I was doing that, I found two areas on the top of the frame’s rear cross member where the paint had been scraped away (looked like by an installer’s tool at...
After one month of ownership: 2022 Badlands, non-SAS, High package in Area 51. All told it was a ten month wait. Century Ford of Mt. Airy was professional and charged MSRP as originally agreed upon.
