Me, my bronco and my drone. Since you all prob know about Hungry Valley I thought I’d drop this here for my SoCal pals. I had posted to the main photo/video thread too. def the coolest way to try out the tracking feature on the drone, plus you don’t have to worry too much about crashing it...
Mine actually honks when I’m sitting with the car running in park with my keys in my pocket and it has some alert that says no key detected. This happens constantly and the key is brand new so not a battery issue. Would love to lose these honk alerts.
drone for sure but this thing that's $19 is pretty awesome to lock your cell phone into the front accessory. I tried a few and they all had points of flex that even the iphones solid stabilization coudn't keep up with. This locks it right at the source tho so it got all those dash shots and as...
Thank you man - glad it made you so psyched! It makes me want to get back out there immediately and do it again haha. I have very little experience wheeling, the bronco elevates confidence and ability to a dangerous level hahaha.
Looks great man - we have similar taste haha. I appreciate the beauty shots in different backgrounds and could look at em all day.
PS. I roundtrip to Colorado and then up to Mendocino in August and didn't see a single bronco - big or sport.
I love it man. I live in LA so basically only see kardashians at the wheel in front of whole foods. My buddies was extraordinarily capable and I kinda dig the simplicity of the older trucks.. none of those offroad display goodies - pitch roll, tire pressure etc but do ya really need all that? I...
The dji drones have a technology where you drag and drop a square around an object on your phone which is connected to the remote as a monitor. Within that yeah there are a ton of settings so you can set it to bullseye the target so it just autopilots and provided no super sharp turns and not...
That does look dope - I'll check it out. I think if I get out of the 1k range it would be to get something more substantial with interchangeable lenses and better sensor.. what blows me away is that this mavic air 2 is kinda the perfect package - under a grand for all that tech and if I crash it...
I went back to Hungry Valley yesterday. I figured out how to mount my iphone on the accessory shoe for a few bucks, but I thought it would be cooler to bring my drone and see how the tracking feature held up. I'm by no means a drone pilot but the active track technology is pretty astounding...
@Hailey Jo I hear ya - I went back to hungry valley today and I cant describe the fun. this truck brings me ridiculous happiness. Congrats on the holdover rig and the new one when ya get it. PS. Getting the OJ color is money by the way. I thought about it.
I was worried that once I took delivery I would end up missing the fun of the anticipation but it's the opposite. can't wait to drive anywhere and spend most days trying to figure out how and where to get off road. hungry valley is great - go there
I took delivery around the 11th. I have only seen 2 others on the road since taking delivery - a 2 door antimatter blue base and a 4d. carbonized grey sas.. both on Sepulveda. SBF and Airport Marina each had one so far who decided not to follow through with purchase but don't know what the mark...
Sounds fishy. My fees on top of the agreed upon purchase order which was MSRP on sticker (actually about <$2 less for some reason). What do they describe the prepping service as specifically? tell them you dont want it.
taxes - nasty I'm in California.
doc fee - 85
electronic vehicle reg - 30...
