Was yours the same tick as the video I posted? It's very specific, inside the cavity and metal tick not any other material. We removed everything multiple times and have not been able to get the sound to stop.

Yeah the first attempt was removing everything tire as well as brake light. Didnt fix it. Sound is coming from the interior of the gate cavity. for my issue anyway.

Don’t think that will fix it it. I’m nearly sure it’s a rivet that is flexing or stressing the metal which is causing the tick over any uneven surface. My dealer has removed lubed and tightened every bolt and elements relating to the spare, parking light, rubber bumpers etc. The sound is in the...

I have this same problem and glad to finally find a thread with others - although the more people worries me they will claim normal. I've been to dealer twice and driven with service and techs in the back. they sent the below video to ford and everyone has acknowledged that it is not normal...

Less is more w rattle can -err on side of more coats less coverage as you do it to avoid common spray paint issues.

prob did like 5 or 6. Super light touch. prob 30 min between each coat.

I got it and it was legit. Build was around 7/13 - delivered 8/11.

Prob inch or so too wide - can’t remember if was too long too. Couldn’t fit it in the plastic housing of the display.

What’s kinda funny is looking at this paperwork they missed the areas that rub - at least on mine, those particular spots are not the prob areas. There are a few on each side and require other strips of felt.
