  1. Sta-bar Disconnect WARNING : FORD NOT COVERING KNOWN ISSUE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS MODIFIED

I agree, the problem only shows up if you use it (most times), so in Moab and Colorado we use it. I think the SSM posted can solve some problems, as my error only comes on occasionally. I think it might be a loose plug, or something like that.
  2. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Took it up Poughkeepsie Gulch. One of the most technical trails around Ouray. Black Bear is deadlier, but really not that tough. I couldn't climb the wall as there was a lot of mud at the bottom and the tires would not bite. But everything else went well. Some wheel rash and hit the slider...
  3. Sta-bar Disconnect WARNING : FORD NOT COVERING KNOWN ISSUE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS MODIFIED

My small dealer has replaced 6 sway bars already. There is a problem.
  4. Chalk test

OK, Thanks. It only goes down to 25, but even at that those tires are rated more than the Bronco weighs. So for my 2 door 28 PSI is fine. I will do 28 around town and 35 on the highway.
  5. Chalk test

Does anyone have the load inflation table for the 37x12.5r17 Load Range C KO2? I can't seem to find it, and BFG has been less than helpful.
  6. Sta-bar Disconnect WARNING : FORD NOT COVERING KNOWN ISSUE IF YOUR VEHICLE IS MODIFIED

I have the same problem, but my dealer did the mods, so they have to cover it.
  7. Chalk test

New tires are stiff. After about 1,000 miles do the chalk test again. 30 sounds about right, although around town you could go lower.
  8. Sevice AdvanceTrac/Pre-Collision assist fault

When I get back I will get an appointment and will tell the dealer what yours found. I found that when I got the error and then cleared it, the disconnect would not work. But the next day it did. So when I got the error again, I cleared it, shut off the vehicle and opened a door, closed the...
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Did two trails today. First was Red Mountain Mine area, and the second was Governor's Basin. Over 12,000 feet on parts.
  10. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Took it up Corkscrew to the top. Rained on the way to the trail, then like magic, clouds cleared and we had a nice day, Bronco did great. There is still some snow up there, and we did see some wild life,
  11. Black Bear Pass Still Closed

People think just because a vehicle has 4 wheel drive they can go anywhere. Stupid. I do hope it opens because I was planning on doing it this week.
  12. Sevice AdvanceTrac/Pre-Collision assist fault

I have it too, also service Sta bar, but they clear. Stab disconnect is now not working, again.
  13. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Today did Yankee Boy Basin all the way to the top.
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Yesterday drove it from Moab to Ouray towing the trailer. I handled the 8000+ ft "Hills" just fine.
  15. My Moab 2 Door Badlands build

You are right. While the Bronco will spend "Most" of it's time in Moab, not all. This week we will be in Ouray and it will rain. We do a lot of wheeling by ourselves (wife and I) and I really didn't want to put a winch (heavy) on it, so I thought the boards would be a light, alternative to a...
  16. My Moab 2 Door Badlands build

The tires are brand new and stiff. I started at 14 psi, then went down to 12. Still experimenting with it. We will be in Ouray next week and I will try 10, and then 8 if I have to. Bead grip wheels, so it should be good. Also adjusted the shocks to the softest setting, springs are new as well.
  17. My Moab 2 Door Badlands build

2.7 with a Ford performance tune.
  18. My Moab 2 Door Badlands build

We have been coming to Moab since 1998 and have never grown tired of it. Now we spend about 6 months here (spring and fall). I also have a RZR Pro R on 35" tires and do a lot of exploring with that. It is true that we don't do the "tourist" trails as much as we used to, because there are so...
  19. My Moab 2 Door Badlands build

The ARB install went better than I expected. I was worried that the shelf would resonate and increase the noise from the compressor. It didn't. Beneath the compressor under the carpet is a hole through the metal, covered by a grommet. He cut the center of the grommet and ran the wire down...
