Technically, one is for my son, but I (for the most part) paid for both.
i could not resist, that carbonized gray metallic is so sweet, we ended up trading in his Hyundai, and bringing it home.
this picture was taken in the showroom at O’Meara Ford where I bought it.
I am thinking there are two distinct issues At play here:
For late 23 production of vehicles with MIC tops: someone did not apply the adhesive promoter to the MiC top before gluing on the rear quarter glass; and as a result there has been glass separation experienced, that is what the recall...
There was some 24s that went into “production“ in mid December but all 24 blend dates started on January 2nd 2024. Going into production just means they started gathering component for the vehicle.
What is interesting here is that they are designating it as a safety recall.
When my window was rattling, I stopped and pulled it off the rest of the way and drove to the dealer.
The lady at the service desk, said I should not have pulled it off myself because
Ford may not recognize it as a...
I think Ford authority has it wrong, AT prices are not going down, they are remaining the same.
They are increasing the base price by $500, then decreasing the price of the added AT option by $ 500, so net change for AT purchases will be 0 while the MT price will actually increase by $500 due to...
The window adhesive issue discussed in the Heritage Facebook group:
It seems like they used the wrong sealing agent on the adhesive for early January blends.
That’s exactly what the bad adhesive looked like, yours may not have totally separated yet, but it looks you have the bad window adhesive problem.
@flip says Ford is issuing guidance soon to address the issue.

I used...
Mine happened when the temperature outside was in the 50s, so it is not an issue with melting.
It looked like the adhesive material they used on that window itself was the problem.
Maybe when they were manufacturing a batch of drivers' side rear windows they used bad adhesive, but it was just a...
yes, at least me and @WACOBronc had it happen on their 2024. According to @WACOBronc 's dealer it is an issue they have encountered on other HEs recently.

Both of ours were...
Mine was not installed at PDI, I pointed it out to the sales manager at time of delivery. He went to the parts department and found out it had been delivered and was forlorn, sitting all by itself, no Bronco to hitch itself to.
It was installed 3 days later by the service department.
It took...
