My Falken R/T01's are 82lbs a piece. There was a noticeable difference in performance as well as fuel economy. The trade-off being I know they will hold up off-road and are much tougher.
A vote for @ZFGracing .
I've been running Adams tuning for over 2 years and I drive hard. I've had zero issues. With the RTD device it's actually very simple now. A little more complicated process is small price to pay for a higher quality tune overall.
I did not experience this at all with my F-150. The only tank of gasoline it ever saw was the one it left the dealership with. It was strictly E85 after that. When I tore it down at 30k miles to build it, the bearings were perfect. Sounds like he was confusing Ethanol with Methanol or you heard...
That’s a pretty accurate statement. When I’m in west Texas doing Baja type runs I throw in 5 gallons of E85 mixed with 91 and it runs just fine. Recommended by my tuner since I have a dedicated 93 octane tune. E85 is the best octane booster. Better than anything off the shelf. Just stick to an...
Impressive. Basically, you'd need a Built 10R80 swapped in + lots of air and fuel to reach the limit of this shortblock (not counting unforeseen failures along the way)
I ran it a couple of years ago. It's narrow, but I don't remember any part being particularly sketchy, but I also have a pretty high tolerance for risk.
I imagine these tone down drone a good bit.
Do you have downpipes? That made enough difference for me to not want to touch anything else on the exhaust. Maybe it’s a sign I’m also getting old.
You just need a friend with a facebook account willing to help.
Just have to go to the marketplace tab and search "Raptor wheels". There should be a fair amount if you live close to a major city.
honestly, this is pretty expensive. Facebook sucks, but these are all over marketplace near me for 1700-1800 WITH tires. brand new takeoffs. I'd look there.
the Raptor has live valve suspension so not sure what you mean by “active”. It’s made for this. At what timestamp in the video did you hear noise? Also I should mention that inside I had a crate full of tools/parts, a cooler full of drinks/snacks, and a passenger seat full of more...
Excellent news from Mishimoto above ^^^
I’ve got logs that show even the aftermarket IC’s in the stock location don’t keep charge air temps down on a “long” pull. Long being WOT beyond 1/8th mile. Keep in mind this also tune and weather dependent. The spicier the tune and hotter the weather the...
