Agree, it doesn't sound like much of a discount. The color may be important too. A basic color might not be as bad as the higher end colors on repair and durability. That original price sounds like a pretty high end model. My '24 Outer Banks sticker was 57,520 before additional options.

Removed the entire hardtop today. Surprised there are 2 top bolts per side instead of 1. All videos and all bolt replacement kits only mention 1 bolt per side. Did Ford add a second top bolt to '24 models, or did Ford give me something for free? LOL.

Sadly Kevin, we did. Home self-washing in southern Nevada is generally frowned upon due to the amount of water needed and storm drain water isn't recycled. However, no more drive thru car washes.

WOW, this is incredible (in a bad way). FYI - driving on Hwy 93 north out of Kingman AZ, is like driving through an asteroid belt. Had 2 near misses on that stretch recently, but will be leery of Safelight in the future.

yes indeed. The first time at this car wash was fine. This last time the equipment seemed to be set on vehicle assault mode. Since most self service car washes in Nevada no longer have enough water pressure to get off mud or insects, it's DIY from now on, cheaper in the long run. Thanks.

This type of scratch could have been a tree branch, but I really think it was the local carwash. Anyone else seen carwash scratches? (FYI - in desert climate, it's cheaper to use a car wash than diy)

Anyone who got to experience the Ford Fusion / Lincoln MKZ door latch debacle may be more sensitive to door slamming. (2013-14 Ford/Lincoln door latches completely failed allowing doors to swing open at will. It took Ford a few years to finally initiate a recall)

So just because some mining company was too lazy or cheap to remove their equipment after they were done with the land somehow makes their work debris important and/or historical. These towers and there are more than just a few, pretty much destroy the natural landscape.

Correct. It's not like it was some sort of National Monument or anything natural. It was equivalent to a 100 year old telephone pole or fence post. It was a low tower part of a salt mining tram.
