  1. Articulation vs traction aids and clearance.

What model Ram was in the video? It handles the obstacles well but the width clearance was very tight in some areas. The Bronco is wide even with mirrors folded - it'll probably be close on trails with tighter sections.
  2. Recommend SoCal dealer for 2021 Bronco? (MSRP or below and accepts Xplan)

I can't think of a better day than taking delivery of a new Bronco at Galpin and getting some Tommy's before heading out for a drive.
  3. Where we gonna put the American flag?

That's a cool easter egg. I bet Doug DeMuro is giggling with glee.
  4. Factory Wheel Options

The two optional wheels seen on the Broncos on Display at Ford are Method 105's and Fifteen52 Turbomacs.
  5. California Check-in

It's a bit longer of a drive for you but if you can't get a reasonable price on the peninsula The Ford Store in Morgan Hill will have below MSRP pricing. Pretty sure they do X-plan as well. I haven't bought from them but they hold a special place in my heart for selling GT350's without ADM...
  6. California Check-in

Grew up in LA but have been in the SF Bay Area half my life now where I get comments for being a Dodger fan and saying "The 101". Looking forward to using all of the awesome OHV trails we have in CA. First trips with the Bronco will be Death Valley and Joshua Tree.
  7. Crawling Video & Pics: 2.7L and 2.3L Badlands Sasquatch Broncos

I'm really looking fwd to some h2h comparisons too. Both stock vs stock and modified.
  8. Rear vents for A/C Air Conditioning in 4 Door Bronco Are Located Under Front Seats

Hopefully rear seat placement is the only AC issue we see with the Bronco. S550 Mustangs have had evap and compressor issues. I had my compressor replaced on a 2016 at 18k miles.
  9. Catalytic Converter Theft (Warning: Potential Stupid Question)

I know it sounds like a silly issue to worry about a Cat getting stolen but that's the reality of SF, along with the high risk of getting your windows broken. OP is a Bronco fan regardless of where he lives and there's really no need to make this political. The country is divided as fuck...
  10. Articulation vs traction aids and clearance.

I agree with your theory. Ford is not shy about targeting the Wrangler and its features and capabilities. It seems like they made design choices that resulted in the Bronco falling short in certain aspects like articulation and clearance, and to overcome those shortcomings they are offering...
  11. Crawling Video & Pics: 2.7L and 2.3L Badlands Sasquatch Broncos

Lockers will keep equal power going to both wheels but I'd prefer both of those wheels on the ground as much as possible for better traction and use of the power.
  12. Crawling Video & Pics: 2.7L and 2.3L Badlands Sasquatch Broncos

I don't have experience with it but perhaps as a compromise you can get a set of quick disconnect pins for the front sway. Way less convenient than the hydraulic disco on the Badlands but much safer than going without a sway at higher speeds.
  13. Additional Sound Deadening (High Package component) - What/Where is it?

Thanks - I missed that there were two separate options.
  14. 2021 Bronco Roof Rack

The ability to remove the front 3 roof panels with the roof rack on is awesome - hopefully that's the case. The dynamic load rating campared to the Wrangler makes me think that load was a trade-off to the flexibility it offers.
  15. Crawling Video & Pics: 2.7L and 2.3L Badlands Sasquatch Broncos

Assuming it's the bump stops and because it's equipped with Sasquatch, would that suggest that Ford went with a less-favorable method for lifting the Bronco to get clearance for the 35's? Reusing the same Billsteins from Badlands with 33's but limiting travel with bumpstops instead of equipping...
  16. Thoughts on waiting for a 2022 Bronco

Might've been mentioned earlier but if you're open to other options then by waiting until the following year you might have some news from Toyota on a new 4runner. Additionally, it will be nice to see all of the real-world testing and review results for the Bronco. So far it's the spec sheet...
  17. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

If money weren't a factor I'd go with Badlands but realistically I'm targeting the BD. The online configurator will probably answer these for me next month but I'm hoping the 360 camera for parking and trail visibility will be an option, along with the 12" screen and signature LED's.
  18. Crawling Video & Pics: 2.7L and 2.3L Badlands Sasquatch Broncos

What would be limiting the articulation in the rear? It has a solid axle back there and I think there's also no rear stabilizer. Shock travel?
