Dealer just called and said they need the Bronco for another day to install the kit. More complicated than they thought and the service writer thinks they've only done one before. They thought it was going to be like a 4 wire.
Can't wait to have them hit me up for extra cash when I pick it...
I like the BD steels, just wanted a larger/more durable tire and Goodyear, just happened to come out with the Duratrac-RTs at the right time (7.5 width limits tire choices over 33") . My brother wanted the Generals for his Ranger, so it was Merry Christmas to him :)

I got a set of 285/75R17 a few weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to scribble anything up yet, but I like them so far.
Lots of people are mixing them up with the original Duratracs.
Duratrac-RTs 285/75R17 and Ford Performance Lift
Mad Max 2 system... On the serious side starter kill is reasonable for what I think you want to do. The fuel/ignition system wiring introduces a point of failure that could be bad while cruising down the road.
You didn't try Apple? 🤪 You have to buy Ford Performance parts from them or they won't install.
I tried a few dealers for shock installs and they weren't interested.
May have a ASE place in Pasadena. I'll let you know how it goes.
Decided to try Stinkyfab for dual fogs, waiting for a decent Saturday to install.

I had found something on a non-US site and they indicated= little more than the regulars (3 ply sidewall), so I'm guessing about 65 lbs. I'll try to get a number later today. Goodyear just told me 50.48 lbs, must be having math issues this AM.

Trying out the new Duratrac RTs tomorrow (285/75R17)
I think I'm good putting the all the originals in the back, figured I'd check here and hopefully save some driving around.
Thanks.
I'll try to remember to take some photos and measure in the next day or three.
Not sure if it'll be pre or post tire change. Still waffling on tire choice a bit.
So, after grinding through here and numerous tire reviews, the plan is
Ford performance 2" lift and Falken A/T3Ws LT285/75x17 121/118 on stock steel wheels.
I looked at the Kenda RT 35x10.5, KO2s and Duratracs, but I like the dry pavement performance of the Falken.
The LT285/75x17 seems to be...
Just wondering how the search is going. I'm around Elkridge trying to find a place to install the Ford Performance 2" Bilstein shocks/lift. Hopefully ASE for the warranty. Also been calling around about getting some Kenda 35s mounted.
Called Apple for kicks, they wanted 1200+ for labor plus...
