Dealers don’t give a f*ck because reservation holders are stuck with them and can’t change. In their minds, that sale is done… and you are just standing in the way of them asking for an absurd ADM. They are actually incentivized to piss you off and hope you cancel.
If they slap an ADM on a...
Ha! No…I’ve been chasing him for 3 weeks to get confirm of my build change. Finally got a response, but not an answer to my build change, just an offer to rip me off with this one.
In the WTF world of Bronco production, my dealer just told me they have a dealer stock 2dr OB Sas for $77k ($25k ADM). Of course, none of their customer orders are being delivered though.
Resisting the urge to rage cancel but I did put in a Rivian preorder so now it’s probably down to who delivers first. My current vehicle is still under factory warranty until next August so no actual rush even though the absurd wait and way Ford has handled it are super frustrating.
Has anyone actually found this Ford marketing department line to be helpful? I've only experienced long hold times followed by a "we know nothing" response to every question.
It should cool down by late Oct, but we wore long pants the first day in early Sep and it was hot AF! No need to wear long pants no matter what the Off-Roadeo email suggests. Good grip hiking shoes/boots are worthwhile though.
We stayed at Horseshoe Bay and it is a really impressive resort but...
ABSOLUTELY!
I'm very early reservation (7/14/20) and only build difference between OP's and mine is Lux vs. High and I didn't opt for Tow. If it isn't allocation, WTF?
Asked my dealer to 99 me to MY22 today. I'm a 7/14/20 @8am reservation (ordered in Feb) and recently switched from MIC to ST (after attending Off-Roadeo) but still nothing. Build dates are already into November so might as well see what changes MY22 offers when order banks open rather than...
I was initially responding to the questions raise by the OP - getting SAS vs "self-SAS" afterwards. Your circumstances seem different...self-mod and enjoy!
