I have never lifted a vehicle before. I am considering getting a 2.7 on 33's, and then driving for a while to see if I "need" sasquatch. If I upgrade to 35's later and have the 4.46 gearing will it be that big of a deal? I am not going to go crazy with rock climbing. More of a family fun...
Looks awesome, congrats! My wife and I dream of moving to Florida someday. California is sadly not what it used to be.
RTR wheels look great! What type of tires are those?
I haven't had my order in for that long. 11/21. I just had my dealer 99 my order. I didn't want my order to get built in late 22 just to see new options/colors available in 23 that I wish I had. I am hoping for Atlas Blue and raptor IC in lux.
But that is just me.
I struggle with this decision all the time. I appreciate hearing everyone's satisfaction with 33's. I love the way the sasquatch looks on the 4 door, but I know I don't need it.
It still is a tough decision to make.
My original order was a soft top. It arrived too early when I was not financially ready. My current order is a MIC. Honestly, I really like the soft top, and always wanted both tops. I figured it would be easier to get a soft top later than a hard top.
I also thought this would a be a worthwhile upgrade. Depending on the cost. I am sure there are a lot of people that will hate on the idea.
Another option is to get a Wildtrak and add a manual sway bar disconnect. I know it isn't as cool, but would be more cost effective. My biggest blocker is...
Thanks for the review! I used my brother in law's roof top tent once and it sold me on the concept. I don't think I could go back to a traditional tent.
In that article I think he started without the liner to make it easier. For those of us that have it installed do you think factory deadening material will be easy to (cleanly) remove?
I always thought cloth made more sense with top off because they don't conduct heat as much. But, I live in Sacramento where it gets fairly hot.
Any reason you think leather makes more sense with the top down? Do you have more rain?
I was considering a manual disconnect if I switch to Wildtrak. I am not sure if you have experience with them, but would I need to be worried that I am decreasing the strength of these components while high speed off-roading?
Thanks!
I am thinking of making the same change as well. Wildtrak has always looked the best (in my opinion). While I might not use the HOSS 3.0 to its capability, I just seems like this is what the Bronco was meant to be.
