  1. Black Plasti-Dip on rear Bronco emblem

It’s not spray paint. It’s just in a spray can. It peels off incredibly easy, as shown in OPs pictures where he oversprayed onto the vehicle. As soon as it dries you can just pull it off like a sticker. It’s kind of like a spray on vinyl wrap. Truly magical stuff. But I get just dropping money...
  2. Black Plasti-Dip on rear Bronco emblem

Holy crap that’s a lot more than $5 for a can of paint that you can remove if you ever want to.
  3. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

I wonder if pulling the video was a factor in getting the vehicle at MSRP.
  4. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

So they were fine with overcharging until the internet found out. Sounds about right.
  5. October/November Builds…the party is over here🙌🏻

With all the people being pushed back into October, I’m afraid to contact my dealer and check on my 10/11 date.
  6. Insight into this email?

Yep, that’s just the confirmation info from Ford. That said, I believe priority 10 is the highest priority for dealer orders. Most people are a 19. So that’s probably going to put you at or near the front of the line at that dealer.
  7. Insight into this email?

When I first placed an actual order in March, like 10 days later I got my Ford confirmation email and my dealer sent me an updated order summary. I dunno if the dealer didn’t place the order with Ford for 10 days or it took 10 days for Ford to confirm. That said, I’ve been getting order summary...
  8. Insight into this email?

Not really. The top of every order summary says this.
  9. Insight into this email?

Did you just place or change an order? This is just the order summary.
  10. Black Plasti-Dip on rear Bronco emblem

Yea I could never get glossifier to layer evenly and on something large it can be noticeable if it’s not even. At least early on. This was like 7 years ago, right as plastidip was getting popular. It is likely an even better product now.
  11. Black Plasti-Dip on rear Bronco emblem

I did like 8 coats, lol. They honestly looked great. Plastidip just likes to hold dirt so it made it really hard to clean. Looking at photos, I ran it for 5 months before I paid for powdercoating. Never had any peeling. Day one with plastidipped wheel: Versus day one with powdercoat:
  12. Black Plasti-Dip on rear Bronco emblem

I plastidipped my wheels on my old WRX so I could see how they looked in a darker color. It was a paaaaaain in the ass to clean them, but for emblems and stuff I’d happily do it again. I ended up loving how it looked so eventually I just paid to have them powdercoated.
  13. Question for all those who purchased from big discount dealers….

Aren’t dealer allocations determined on a monthly basis anyway? I recall Granger mentioning a few times how many allocations they got for a specific month. This due to the fact that supply and demand just simply aren’t static. There was a best effort cut off date in March for initial MY21...
  14. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

Repair shops. Manufacturer service locations & showrooms. Same as now, just first party instead of third. Tesla has like 150 shops across the nation right now, plus mobile repair vehicles. As their customer base grows, those numbers are only going up. I think they planned to add 50 more...
  15. What’s your opinion, is this Bronco mine?

Someone hasn’t been paying attention. There’s base model used Broncos selling on eBay for $50K+ right now. Sure, those numbers will go down as more Broncos hit the road, but there’s a huuuuge difference between only making a near neutral profit and taking a 30% hit. We’re nowhere near that...
  16. Not all Dealers are bad!

It’s weird seeing several people in this thread planning to cancel without their dealer even doing anything wrong yet. What’s the harm in holding? Even if your order takes another year, just keep the order open. Best case, your dealer concerns were all in your head and they surprise you with...
  17. Not all Dealers are bad!

To the manufacturer. They still maintain showrooms and service centers. They are just corporate locations, not independent dealers. So they still control the pricing and quality of the work being done.
  18. Not all Dealers are bad!

Can you imagine if Ford just sold direct to customers like newer electric car companies are doing? Cut out the middle man completely. Prices would be lower and satisfaction higher. Or maybe prices would be the same as they’d need to maintain physical presence to show off vehicles. But either...
  19. No more Manual Transmission Broncos at the Austin Off-Roadeo

I was thinking the same thing. I have driven nothing but manuals for the past 20 years. Never once had to replace a clutch. What the hell are they doing to them at these events?
  20. New Product: KR Off-Road Triple Fog Light Kit w/Baja Designs Lights (Now Shipping!)

What's the difference between this and the Baja Designs pocket kit? Nevermind. I see. The Baja Designs kit only works with a 2x2 and 2 2x1s.
