Had the opportunity to test out the new Duratrac RT's on my 4 door Bronco. I'm pretty happy with the changes they've made.
Love the new sidewall pattern and the 3 ply sidewall.
Made a quick 5 minute review on them.
I'm actually taking those out and putting Vertex Coil overs in. same height, but I am hoping that the stiffer suspension will limit the droop a bit... or at least not make it as violent.
My point is that people are afraid the 2.3 won't be enough engine. But the older V8's were considered powerful and were less than the little Eco boosts of today.
Of course the modern V8's are more powerful. But you absolutely don't need it for this type of vehicle.
Man, can you imagine...
It's too bad they don't make them with a V8 anymore.... oh wait....
In stock trim, the 5.8-liter Bronco was rated at 205 horsepower (153 kilowatts) and 328 pound-feet (445 Newton-meters) of torque.
I guess I'll keep my tiny 4 cylinder Engine with 300 horsepower......
I'm willing to bet that all you need is to tighten your tailgate hinges. I have two broncos. both had persistent rattles. Tightening the hinges on the tailgate fixed both.
Haven't posted many videos lately, but here's an impromptu overnight trip I took with my son.... and I basically forgot to bring everything haha. Except Beer, steak and Koolaid...
Curious if anyone has any more updates with their RCV shafts? I'm on my third OEM passenger shaft and when it goes.... I need to try something different.
