I could care less about any reviews. I’ve owned various Jeeps over the years, as well as Fords, and with all that Ford has put into the Bronco and what’s riding on its success, I’m confident the vehicle will be great. And if you want to be more sure, go drive a Ranger as has been suggested and...
Received rear cargo liner this week. Coming by end of June are the SAS flares (I want to cover my wider aftermarket wheels/tires). I have a few non-Ford parts in hand also, such as ReadyLift high-clearance anti-intrusion beams (i.e., replacement crash bars)
Thanks OP. I wonder if the more constraints you have ... and you seem to have all or most of them ... the harder to get scheduled and more likely your build might get moved around (?).
I'm 55 and kids are gone! Getting 4-door because it looks so much better than the squatty 2-door. Plus my other cars (mustangs) are 2-door so I certainly don't need another :)
PS - Where the hell is the POLL?
Can't go wrong with any of these but after my research I got the Toyo AT's in 305/70R17 (34"). I've had BFG KO2 and MTs before and they are good too. I'll probably end up with a set of MT's on cheap rims eventually for off-roading.
What I'm hearing is you would need more than the 10mm lift that the SAS has to fit 37's, but would need at least 1-2" additional on top of what the SAS has.
I don't think you need to remove 2.7 or Auto. As others report, I believe MIC top is the main issue. I have relatively late reservation (7/31) but soon after removing MIC top from my 4-door Badlands order, I received email on 5/27 that I was schedule for production the week of 7/19.
All I did a few weeks ago was remove MIC hardtop from my BL 2.7 and 2 weeks later I received email from Ford that I'm scheduled for July 19 build week. That's all I was willing to change but nothing wrong with anyone's decision to change or not.
