I made a post asking people if there manuals are holding up well because i was thinking of buying another one. I didnt expect the same thread i posted in little over 2 years ago, when mine was being bought back, would still be so active. The comments dont sound too different now. Hopefully ford...
Maybe ill check it out, this time im looking at a 4dr and i only want the manual, if i go auto ill probably get something else. if i hear the noise im probably going to pass. It was a nightmare going through that repair.
So I am once again looking at broncos. I seem to have bad luck with vehicles the doors come off. I had an 18 jlu, 20 jt, 21 bronco, and 21 jt. My bronco manual transmission failed and parts were impossible to get back then so i took a buy back. Ive had my 2021 gladiator for almost 2 years, i put...
You need to have the bank send stuff to them and answer a bunch of questions. Its not too bad and they emailed everything they needed. The buy back was easier than dealing with service during my issues.
I got all taxes, fees, and what you paid on the loan back. They took 2915 off for mileage, i had about 8k. I think you could negotiate the mileage part, but i really wanted mine gone by that point. There was an option to get another bronco or another ford, but i didnt look into it.
Ford bought mine back. I reached 4 and a half months waiting. Then the part came in and something broke doing the repair and the date got pushed way out for a new transmission.
I took the buy back, but the cash and keep is this.
2) Cash & Keep Option – If your vehicle is repaired, and you decide you would prefer to keep the vehicle, in lieu of repurchase, Ford would be willing to provide a settlement for $1,500. In exchange for this check, you will retain...
I took the buy back. I'm sure this issue will be fixed, but the amount of time was too long and i had other issues on top of this one. I just figured id rather take the sure thing. I can always buy another bronco down the road if i want to.
Mine was bought back by ford today, i dropped mine off 1/2 for the noise. It was looking like id miss a good chunck of the summer so i took the buyback
Well the bronco was officially bought back by ford today. Im sure the fix is coming, but 16 weeks without my car is enough. Ford and my dealer where great through the process if anyone else decides to go this route. Good luck everyone on their repairs.
I finally heard from ford about the buy back, it will basically cover what my states lemon law covers. It should only take 2 to 3 weeks if everything goes smooth. Today is 14weeks without the car and it looks like itll be 2 more months, so i think this will be the end for me.
