Exactly, I cannot see spending $40K+ premium on a Gladiator 392 versus a Ranger Raptor. Hell, I couldn't see spending the money on a 392 versus the Bronco (and they are way closer to cost parity).

Honestly, if you've never spent much (any?) time out west it'll be quite an experience. It's like a whole other world out here compared to the east. Way easier to get the hell out in the middle of no where also.

FWIW, we have tons of covered structures out here with solar on them. Shades parking lots from the direct sun and gives solar power to typically whatever larger institution installs it. With the metal structures they often use, cars are not about to knock them all down. Usually big metal girders.

The 392 almost certainly is full time 4WD all the time due to the fact that you'd wrap yourself around a tree with one in purely rear wheel drive pretty easily. That thing would be an absolute terror in the rain with it in RWD. Taking the crappy handling of a Jeep and combining it with that...
