Bronco owner has every right to be upset, the Jeep owners lucky he didn’t get pulled out of the window. The Jeep (looked like RUBICON badging) appeared built well, however the driver had absolutely zero business on that trail and willfully put themselves and everyone in danger. Upon initial...
I have run no spare on the back of my jeeps for years. Just a good repair kit and compressor. With a 35 or 37 out back you crawl enough rocks that weight will destroy the back of your Bronco unless you BUILD a proper carrier for it or find a bumper with good frame tie in that you can mount the...
The rear cupholder situation is total BS. When I ordered my HE I was positive the build photo showed the fold down armrest… nope. Good job doing what ford couldn’t.
My 23 (July delivery) lost all refrigerant at about 2500 miles. Leaking condenser. R&R been fine since. But still odd the AC system failed to begin with
I’m out in SoCal, lots of desert and trails that go for many miles so I do agree the existing bronco range sucks, that being said with more tech, more weight, more weight, more difficult to off-road
Also have any of those vying for a hybrid driven a wrangler 4XE? I had one as a rental, it felt...
With all the issues ford has with the Bronco already, you’re wanting them to attempt to add more tech and more issues for a couple mpg? The ford tech gremlins make Chrysler look good.
Honestly though, what is the hybrid obsession? The Bronco is a brick on wheels, what is the expectation?
You’re missing the point
1) most campgrounds don’t have parking for a tow vehicle trailer
2) a bronco isn’t very big in the first place, outside a pre 2013 CRV you’re not gonna find anything much smaller if you need a 4 person TOAD.
3) fuel efficient? The motorhome or truck towing a trailer...
Failed AC condenser
Failed cam phasers
(Body mount bolts falling out after cam phaser repair)
Loose mirrors rattling over bumps
Rear window mis aligned causing squeaks and paint to wear off body
Other than that not too bad🤣.
Did my first run 7 years ago, 3” rock crawler lift, open Dana 30 and LSD in a Dana 35, no skids, winch, bumpers…. Dang near stock with a 5 speed manual… took a lot of finesse to go loon to the springs and back with nothing but rock rash on the wheels. Pic was at buck island. Been 5 times since...
