I dislike attention honestly. I was all over some of the nice Bronco colors until I snapped back to reality and realized for me they were all too bright lol. I went with AMB and now Iām wondering if I that might be too flashy and maybe I need to take it down a notch and go with black, lmao.
That sounds like a blast! I was just watching something yesterday about the Superstition Mountains and people who try and find the Dutchmanās gold mine (I think thatās the right name). What a beautiful and unique place.
If it makes you feel better, some of my favorite memories are climbing into the back of my dadās 2 door Jeep. (And mustang for that matter) ...... Always knew it was adventure time when I got in.
You mean the sweet stray in my profile pic? He just showed up out of nowhere so we started feeding him...heās a little mouthy though. Canāt figure out what breed he is either.
Actually that beauty showed up on our trail cam. Crazy what goes on out there. Bear, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, but...
If itās any consolation, sometimes heāll be riding back there with the dog. And when the dog is in the front with me, at least heāll have cup holders to keep him company back there.
Sometimes I see stuff that just gets me really excited about getting the Bronco. Today it was the simple front runner awning attached to the roof rack. I have seen other pictures almost exactly the same, but this morning for some reason, I saw it and thought how awesome itās going to be to go...
I keep thinking there might be some aftermarket bags that might be better (or maybe something with more protection for those of us without a garage?).
But if I was getting a 4-door that could use the bags to stow the doors in the back, and I was getting my Bronco early enough to go door less...
Thatās pretty cool. How do the soft doors close? It looks really taut in the bottom.
edit: Oh, I guess it has a framed bottom half. That makes sense.
I could easily see this (and honestly it would be hilarious).
I doubt there will be roving gangs of Bronco Door Bandits (good band name), but campgrounds and drunk hell raisers often fo hand in hand.
I have one of those seatbelt harnesses too, and it is crash tested rated supposedly. Iām wondering if you are going to give it a try going door-less, with the harness on? I donāt think I will, unless itās just driving slowly around the property. He also likes to lean against the door, so Iād...
Thatās great to hear about the VW vinyl, I hope the MGV is similar. When we got our grand Cherokee, we had it for less than a week before we had a rip in the seat from a dog. Our son was in a car seat then and we couldnāt find a seat cover for the back seat that let his car seat go in the middle...
Does anybody know how these seats will stand up to dogs by any chance? I know Iāll have to get a good seat cover for the passenger seat so my pupās claws donāt rip it up, but Iām wondering how durable they will be without. At least I can hose out the inevitable mud
one of the reasons I was happy to order the Bronco was to give competition to the Jeep, so Jeeps get better. I like the Jeep. I donāt love it like I do the Bronco, but I like it a lot. So I donāt know, it would depend on what I could do with this hypothetical new Jeep, but I wouldnāt rule it out...
I know Iāll scratch mine up badly. Iām going to take mine through the woods around my house and there are so many pine trees with low branches, I wonāt be able to clear the trails completely. Our Grand Cherokee (black) has stripes just from our driveway in the summer when trees seem to grow...
