It kind of looks like the water was contaminated with something the way everything is blotched and spotted around the hardware. Maybe salt or limestone dust? That may have accelerated the corrosion. My .02¢ worth.

I think MB3Z7E440A or SW8619 is the part number. Just curious, Is that a simple switch or a sending unit?? Maybe @Ducati1098 can shed some light. I'm guessing the ECU needs better oil pressure data than a simple switch could provide.
