Actually I'm not paying any sales tax. But you should be able to request a refund for overpayment to your state. They are not due more than what you paid. I'm not a pro but you could check with one.

It seems I may be eligible for some price protection from Dec. I have no idea what the price was beginning of Dec. '22 when my order was entered, but they are looking it up. I'm told I need to pay the full sticker price then Ford will issue a refund within 3 months.

If you don't like this, or don't like living in a free economy you can just move to Cuba. This never happens there. And the weather is nice, the beaches are free of trash and people, and there are hardly any boats in the open water.
