  1. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Took the family up the beach to Corova, NC in search of the wild horses. Happy Thanksgiving from OBX. 🦃
  2. Xpel PPF Options

@JohnnyMotorBoat $4,000 for full PPF on all painted surfaces (and headlights) + $500 for XPEL Ceramic Coating on top.
  3. How are you managing your Xpel PPF?

@Rooster I've had full XPEL PPF for a couple of months and since installation, I've only used Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine with an Ultra Black Sponge. So far I've had great results but I'll admit that it's not a huge timesaver from a traditional wash (just less messy). If you have a...
  4. 🍂 Show me your Fall (Autumn) Photos! I’ll start.

Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park - Blue Ridge Mountains
  5. Show us your installed wheel / tire upgrades here! (Pics)

@BroncoZ13 Apologies if it's already been asked, but have you noticed any difference in on-road or off-road ride between the SAS shocks and the 6100s? Also, I assume the 1" and 1.5" lift is above and beyond the factory SAS lift, correct? Thanks in advance.
  6. How do you wash your Bronco?

@broncoGIRL21 I've never put it on the bumper since mine is steel, but when diluted for external plastics (1:3) it's not shiny or wet looking. On the other hand, if you didn't dilute it at all or went with a 1:1 dilution like what is recommended for tires, it would probably shine a little...
  7. Xpel PPF Options

Another upvote for XPEL Ultimate 10. I went with the gloss but was told by the installer that XPEL Stealth would be the same price. If you're getting a higher estimate for Stealth, you may want to shop around.
  8. How do you wash your Bronco?

After having my Bronco for awhile w/ full PPF and ceramic coating, I've settled on the following: When dirty: Two bucket method w/ dirt traps Adam's Pressure Washer 2.0 Adam's Premium Foam Cannon CARPRO Reset Car Wash Shampoo "The Gauntlet" drying towels from The Rag Company (after using a...
  9. Paint protection film PPF -- considering XPEL for Bronco Raptor

@TXAG08Bronco73 My understanding was that the PPF was applied first (after a paint correction), followed by the ceramic coating. PPF was applied to all painted surfaces while the ceramic coating was applied to all exterior paint, plastics, glass, and interior plastics as well.
  10. Paint protection film PPF -- considering XPEL for Bronco Raptor

For comparison purposes, I paid $4k for full XPEL Ultimate Plus 10 on my 4dr Shadow Black Badlands and another $500 for the XPEL Fusion ceramic coating. Worth every penny! Ever since having it applied, I've only had to wash it once with anything other than a rinse-less wash product since...
  11. Virginia Badlands SAS Wheels + Tires + TPMS Takeoffs = $2,500

Bump. I'm sold on keeping the Trail Grapplers, therefore there's no reason to keep the takeoffs. Let me know if anyone in VA is interested.
  12. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

@mikec426 Yes, it's supposed to be fully waterproof. I haven't had to use it yet though, so I can't confirm the same. With Hurricane Ian coming through this weekend, maybe I should pull it out of the garage and see what happens.
  13. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Did it a few days ago, but my @Broncover came in and I had to give it a test run. I didn't go through the motions of strapping it down to the frame, but the Broncover is NICE! Fits perfectly and the material seems like it should hold up pretty well.
  14. Are the Fox 3.0 worth it?

@Silver-Bolt Trailer Brake Controller? Are you sure about that? My towing package only came with the hitch and wiring harnesses. Pictures?
  15. trail sights / front tie down kit to make limb riser?

    Gearshade makes one. https://www.gearshade.com/bronco-limb-riser/
  16. Questions on Nitto Trail Grappler tires

@IL John - I can't provide any comparison to Toyos but I replaced my stock GYs with 35x11.50 Trail Grapplers and have about 1K miles on them so far. Noise isn't bad at all, but I'm sure they'll get louder as they wear. With the top and doors off at 55 mph it's a very soft hum, but not loud or...
  17. Time to rethink my front plate mount

It's not cheap, but I bought the same one from 4x4TruckLEDs.com and have been very happy with it. In my opinion, it's a much better option than the OEM location and I haven't yet experienced any rubbing or anything while off-road.
  18. Door bolts coming loose?

This seems to be a common problem. As stated above, the clicking noise when opening and closing is a dead giveaway that they need tightened.
  19. Clear PPF Film Protective Wrap for Painted Surfaces on Bronco Raptor

Not a Raptor but I just did a full Xpel PPF wrap on my Shadow Black Badlands and I'm very happy with it. I've only washed it once since getting it back but it's allowed me to relax and not worry about paint swirls all the damn time. For reference, I paid $4k for the PPF and another $500 for...
