You did right IMO. The Black Diamond is a great value and MUCH nicer than the base imo.
Now if if you would only add the Sasquatch package, that is where the fun really starts. Haha
Idk but that mileage picture I posted above was probably 80% City driving. Very little hwy but there does not seem to be a big difference in between Hwy and City mpg on personal Bronco.
I’m a little over 1600 miles now on mine and have two tanks that I went over 400 miles. The light was on but...
Mine did that but I added one of those aftermarket padded ones and it is wide enough that the side of the seats help hold the lid in place.
The padding is nice also.
Some of the plastics on the Bronco are just really low quality. I’m not just talking outside either. The inside is a scratch magnet. Hopefully if there is enough warranty issues they will step their game up some.
All that being said I have not had any of the issues but I’m only a month into...
I had noise from that area also and tightening did not completely solve it. Driver side still popped when the top was folded back. It did make it better though, I had no noise when the top was up completely. What helped my end pieces to be completely quiet was to take the 4 torx screws...
Take the back off to expose the sticky side. With a flat head screw driver on the felt side, push up into the bar between the soft top plastic channel and metal bar as close to the rivets as possible. I used 2-4 per riveted space and several at the bar end where the plastic flares out.
It is...
I was scheduled back in late December and pushed severe times to January. Took delivery a few weeks ago and never received a picture.
Also never got an email apology I have seen others get.
No idea why. I had to reorder a 2022 since I never got scheduled in 2021. Maybe since I got pushed?
22 miles after my test drive. I forgot to look beforehand.
So probably high teens when it came off the truck.
Our last ford only had 3 miles but we bought an Acura back in the 90’s that came to the dealership with over 600 miles. No explanation why.
Other than taking note for fun the...
No science here but the tailgate seems to be made of pretty thin metal and looks to my eye to be close to the weight limit with my factory Sasquatch rim and tire in the back.
I would just weigh the oem Sasquatch set up and stick close to that. If going much over, Install the RC brace.
I agree, a solid 2 mpg better than my 3.6 Rubicon on 35’s with a more powerful, larger, heavier vehicle.
The 3.6 in the Jeep does only require regular fuel so the actual cost is pretty close to a wash.
Man I went through this same issue for years on vacation with various Jeeps. I always bought the duel top option and had the hard top on for the road trip only to struggle with the hard top storage while at the beach.
I ultimately caved and left the soft top on for the road trips just for the...
I have the same issue and have been working on a fix.
I took some soft felt stick on pads about the size of a nickel and pushed them in next to the rivets but under the plastic soft top tab. It seems to have worked. I also tightened the torx screws at the end of the bar after taking them out...
I went this way. Will install tomorrow. They don’t look the best but allow for the flare to come off and the price is right.
When something better comes along, maybe I’ll upgrade.
I was about to pull the trigger on a more expensive set ($400ish) but saw several people had rattling issues and...
I think that trek top is vinyl at $1400.00. The canvas trek top is $1800.00 if I remember correctly. So they undercut the OEM equivalent by a few hundred.
